The Pink Stone is a 1300 sq ft one floor plan home with a brand new 30ft pool with a spa and baja shelf, a 18ft by 24 ft mini golf course & a spacious backyard!
Each corner of the house is curated to provide you the best Palm Springs experience. The entire home, including, the backyard, is newly renovated and redesigned to maximize the enjoyment of your stay. The floor plan is mapped out to give you an indoor-outdoor feel with plenty of areas to hang out and spend time with family & friends!
We provide a starter pack of consumable items (eg. toilet paper, soap, paper towels, detergent pods, dryer sheets, shampoo, etc). If you are a large group or have a long stay, we encourage you to buy additional supplies.
POOL & SPA
Spa heating is included in the price of your stay and will reach up to 100F.
Pool heating is NOT included in the price of your stay. However, the pool can be heated for an additional fee. Due to the fluctuation of gas prices, our pool heating fee will vary from $75 to $150 per night. NOTE: If interested in heating the pool, the fee we ask for depends on the month of your reservation, NOT when you book it. Please inquire the host.
Pool heating can take up to 24 hours, so please notify host AT LEAST 3 DAYS before you want the pool heated. The pool can be heated up to 87F.
The options include: heating the pool for your entire stay or from the middle to the end of your stay (no skipping days). Once your pool is heated, it remains heated until the end of your stay and you are responsible for paying per night.
If you want the pool heated, please follow the instructions below:
1) Please send a request/notice to the Host at least 3 days prior to first day of heating!
2) Host will send message about collecting total heating days payment through other online payment platforms in USD currency.
3) Payment must be received at least 1 day prior to heating because it may take up to 24 hours to heat the pool, depending on the weather.
4) Once payment is received, Host will coordinate the heating of the pool.

This home is located at the heart of Palm Springs. We’re on the south side of Palm Springs where the area is less windy. List of places near our home:

MAIN HOUSE RULES
•Maximum Occupancy - 6 people (Unregistered guests are not allowed on the property. Extra guests will be charged per person per night.)

•No Parties/Events (We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own)
•No smoking or vaping on the premises
•No loud outdoor music at all (Guests may be charged a minimum $500 fee for calls of noise/compliance complaints)
•No excessive noise
•Quiet hours are from 10pm to 10am
•Two additional children 12 years old or younger permitted
•Please dispose chewing gum and cigarette butts properly (Guests may be charged if gum and cigarettes butts are found to be disposed carelessly.)
You are renting this space at your own risk, and by renting through VRBO you are releasing us as host from all liability related to your stay.
ADDITIONAL POOL & SPA INFO
The shallow end of the pool is 3ft deep, the deepest end is 5ft deep, the baja shelf is 1ft deep. Please no diving. Guests should be aware that pools, spas, and surrounding patios can be dangerous. No glassware is permitted in the pool area. Plastic drinking cups are provided for your use in pool and spa area.
Families are welcome, but Guests are fully responsible for children near the pool area - no child safety gates. Not safe or suitable for infants - The pool does not have a security fence. However the sliding glass doors leading to the pool deck area have alerts that can be set upon arrival to alert guest when someone enters the pool area. There is a chime sound when the sliding glass doors are opened. Guests are advised to familiarize themselves with these chimes and advise Host if there are any questions or concerns, prior to allowing access to, or using the pool area.
The spa jets and heater (spa mode) is automatically set to last 15 minutes at a time. This is due to the risk implications for soaking in the spa for more than 15 minutes. Please use the spa at your own risk.
Please note that when the spa jets are on, the pool can't be heated due to the water circulation system. Therefore, spa jets/spa mode need to be off.
Twice weekly pool service is included (Every Monday & Thursday around 10am). The pool service person will only have access to the pool, not the house.
According to the City of Palm Springs Good Neighbor Ordinance, all outdoor activities are advised to end at 10pm and be moved indoors. However, if you choose to be outside after 10pm, please be considerate of our neighbors. You can be cited at least $500 (up to $3,000) if rules are violated and/or if we receive complaints from our neighbors.
WEATHER DISCLAIMER
Due to the nature of our home being located in the heart of the desert, sandstorms might occur. During this time please be cautious of high winds and sand dust. After a sandstorm, the sand and other debris might have entered the pool, please note that we are not in control of this and the cleaning of the pool will be done as soon as possible (The pool guy might not be able to clean the pool immediately). Until the pool is cleaned, use of the pool should be limited for your safety or at your own risk.
Our outdoor furniture might also be covered in sand dust after an occurrence of a sandstorm. This is also out of our control. We are not responsible for cleaning the furniture if a sandstorm happens during your stay. However, we have provided a variety of cleaning supplies located in the laundry room. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience. We thank you for your understanding.
CAMERAS & ALARMS
For your safety and security purposes, there are security cameras in the front of the house, the front of the driveway, and the side of the house. There are no security cameras inside the house or in the pool area. Host is alerted when Guests or anyone come and go from premises.
There are noise monitoring devices installed indoors (one in living room area) and outdoors (the backyard). This is done to enforce the citywide quiet hours (from 10pm to 10am). Exterior maximum noise level is 50 dB(A) and interior maximum noise level is 40 dB(A). From 10am to 10pm, the exterior maximum noise level is 65 dB(A) and interior maximum noise level is 50 dB(A).
Removal of Cameras or Noise Monitors will result in a $500 fine and possible eviction.
PEST CONTROL
This home is located in the heart of the desert. We have monthly pest control inside and outside the property, however, sometimes you may see: ants, flies, spiders, scorpions, bees, mosquitoes, cockroaches, rabbits, mice, road runners, cats, birds, and hawks. These insects and animals are endemic to Palm Springs and the desert.
CITY RULES
By City of Palm Springs Ordinance, the following are required to rent a short term rental in the city:
1. Primary renter age must be at least 25 years old.
2. Primary renter must provide a copy of his/her government issued I.D. prior to check-in. A copy of I.D. is kept on file while guest is at property and will be shared with Vacation Rental Compliance Officials on demand as required by law.
3. Responsible party (primary renter) is required to sign a short term rental agreement. The Host will supply the form via E-mail or link. The forms must be signed and sent back to the Host at least 3 days prior to arrival.
4. We cannot give home access instructions without first obtaining the signed forms back, nor will Host provide access information prior to pool heating fees (if applicable) and Occupancy Tax being paid in full.
5. All guests are required to print and sign names to City of Palm Springs confirmation that Good Neighbor Brochure has been read and understood by all adult occupants.
6. No more than 2 adults per bedroom (6 max) are allowed to occupy the home overnight with 2 additional guests allowed during daytime hours. An additional 2 children under the age of 12 are allowed per rental.
7. No more than 1 car per bedroom are allowed to be parked at the house overnight with 1 additional car allowed during daytime hours (3 cars max).
8. Trash must be kept in the provided receptacle out of public view.
9. Outdoor music is prohibited 24 hours per day. It is further expected that noise created at the home will not be audible beyond the property line.
10. Beginning July 1, 2021 the City of Palm Springs Occupancy Tax increased to 12.5% (11.5% City Occupancy Tax + 1% TBID Assessment) and will be added to all bookings. This tax will be shown as Occupancy Taxes and Fees category.
***Please note: These rules are set forth by City Ordinance and apply to ALL rentals in the City of Palm Springs. They are intended to help create peaceful neighborhoods in which rentals exist. ALL legitimate, licensed vacation rentals in Palm Springs follow city-wide vacation rental laws to remain in business.
