This place is really hard to beat! Wonderful ocean views, sunrises, breezes, and sounds of the surf. It's a classic beach cottage that has everything you need and nothing you don't. We've rented dozens of different places over our 32 years coming to LBI, and this one is EASILY near the very top. Beyond that, the host was very responsive, very communicative, and legitimately made sure we were enjoying our experience. If there's ONE thing to note, it's the tandem parking can be a challenge at first (especially if you have kiddos). But after a few days... it doesn't much matter!

Wonderful getaway

This place served as the perfect spot for an LBI family getaway. Stayed here with my wife, and two kids, 8 and 6. Gorgeous views and an even better location central to all that Beach Haven has to offer. If you have the opportunity to book, don’t hesitate. Great beach house

Super close to the beach access point and within walking distance of the best restaurants on LBI, this beach house is a great and affordable place to stay. This place has some things that a lot of places on LBI do not have: two bathrooms and a washer/dryer inside the unit. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean while we sipped on wine at the end of a day spent relaxing at the beach or fishing in the bay. The location of this house is close to The Gables and The Engleside, two of the best restaurants LBi has to offer.

Amazing Respite on The Shore - Views and Comfort

Beautiful, well located property with a full view ocean view from terrace and living room. Full kitchen, clean, and accurately described. Host communicated timely and with care. This place is a home away from home and truly a beach getaway with attention to all your needs regardless of weather. Can walk easily to beach in a few minutes and park car in driveway. Will return.

Ocean views!!

All you need, Beach 🏖 shopping 🛍 and sitting on the balcony. Our first family trip with my husband and 13 month old baby girl. It was very convenient going to the beach it was walking distance, if my baby had enough of the sand and water it wasn’t a lot of work to get her back in the condo. Shopping was super close Bay village is walking distance. We made really good memories I would book this place again. Dr Z makes it super easy breezy checking in, and has all your questions answered before you ask them. She was super attentive if I texted her or emailed through our stay.

Fantastic views.

Our stay could not have been better, not only are the views from the deck fantastic, there is nothing like listening to the waves as you drift away to sleep. No need for white noise, it is all natural. The overall accommodations are more than adequate, just bring your toothbrushes, pillows and sheets, all other necessities are included. We are lifetime visitors to LBI , our family started coming down in the late 40's. Dr. Z was great to deal with and any questions were answered quickly and in most cases, less than 30 minutes. We look forward to another stay with Dr. Z. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend at Chowderfest 2018

Great location, small house

Location was excellent, close to everything and right on the beach. Property listed 3 bathrooms but only had 1.5 so 1 shower was an issue for 5 adult women. Also listed as a house but was actually only one floor of a house. Appliances and blinds could use an upgrade. Driveway held 3 cars but only 2 spots for our unit so good thing no one was in the other unit, we would have had to move our cars around to get in and out.

Hi Andrea, I just want to clarify what I already explained to you before - the "3 bathrooms" was a mistake on VRBO's part, since they counted our outdoor shower as an additional bathroom. I'm sorry for the confusion, but I do state in the property description that it's a duplex with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. I also mention this in the manual that I sent you before you arrived. As far as the parking, I also let you know ahead of time that the upstairs unit gets two cars and the downstairs gets one. Since I mentioned to you that we didn't have a guest downstairs, you would have been welcome to use all three spots. I'm glad you enjoyed your time at our oceanfront. Thank you again for being our guest!

Amazing view and stay

We had the best week at Dr. Z’s gorgeous beachfront home. We stayed on the upper level and had the best views of the ocean from the open living/dining and bedrooms. The deck was a great size, and we loved having meals/morning coffee with the sound of the ocean waves and view. We traveled with our two sons (3 and 1) and my mother, and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The high ceilings made it seem even more light and airy. Everything was well stocked with anything you would need. Having a washer/dryer was so convenient. Check in/out was a breeze, and Dr. Z was kind enough to even have some of the items we mistakenly left in the dryer mailed out to us. Even though we traveled with a lot of bags/items due to our toddler and baby, it was worth the trek up the steps to have the amazing view and comfortable space for our family. We would absolutely stay again, and would recommend this property! Thank you again!

Charming Space, Great Location!

What a lovely property with a great location! If it wasn't for a rainy weekend our stay would have been almost perfect. The house had everything we needed and was very clean, great for our girls weekend getaway. The pictures were accurate as was the description. The location was close the many restaurants and shopping. We loved Stefano's for dinner and we were also close to Chicken or the Egg, on of my particular favorites for breakfast. The landlord was most helpful, especially when we tripped a circuit breaker and couldn't find the breaker box! (It's in the rear bedroom, BTW!) My only critiques would be is that the rear bedroom with the twin beds only had one working outlet which was controlled by the switch so you couldn't keep the clock plugged in if you wanted to use the wall switch, which was not a big deal because we used our phones for the time. However I couldn't plug a hair dryer in near the dresser and couldn't use the other outlet to charge my phone, nor could I use the extension cord in the room because it didn't have the third hole for the grounding wire. I couldn't use the outlet in the full bathroom for my hair dryer as the third hole for the grounding wire was caked and filled in with paint. Again, a minor inconvenience which I alerted the landlord about when I called about the circuit breaker. I ended up using the half bath to dry my hair (which is when we tripped the circuit because 2 of us were drying our hair at the same time). The door to get in was a little tricky as well but luckily one of the women in our party has a door like that one and was able to work it. Again, a minor inconvenience for a lovely spot. If it weren't for these things I would have given 5 stars. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a house on LBI. My

Thank you for your kind review! The outlet is fixed! By the way, I did include instructions on working our door, which is mean to keep the house safe and secure from storms! Glad you were able to open it!
