This gorgeous mountain-high condo on Sugar Mountain is located within a few minutes drive of all amenities the area has to offer. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating. Summertime activities include rafting, gem mining, fishing, music festivals, theater, mountain biking, and Tweetsie Railroad. Year-round activities like mountain coaster, adventure course, hiking, Grandfather Mountain, and lots more.

This 2-story condo features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that sleeps 10. Each level has its own outside entrance. There is a bedroom featuring 2 queen beds and a bath on the first floor which is level entry. The first story also has an open concept kitchen and living room and laundry area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need. The upper level has the master en suite with a king bed and the third bedroom with two queens and a bath off the hallway. For your convenience and enjoyment, there are televisions in the living area and each bedroom. Air conditioning is in all bedrooms and living areas for summer comfort. There are gas firelogs to take the chill off cool mountain nights. Enjoy the views of Grandfather mountain out your back door. This condo has been remodeled to provide you with lots of relaxation.

Non-smoking. No pets allowed. No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign their rental agreement within 7 days of booking.

Overall it was great! You still have to shuttle or drive to the mountain. It is not with in walking distance to the lift.

Thanksgiving

We stayed at the condo for Thanksgiving. We spent 3 nights with my parents and my sister and her family. The kids had a great time. We even got to see a dusting of snow our first night!

Annual trip to the mountains

First time staying at this location. The layout suited us to a "T". There was plenty of parking, especially in Bank where we unloaded and loaded our vehicles. There were a couple of maintenance issues that were somewhat of an inconvenience, but we worked around them. We plan to rent this unit again next year.

Elevation Station E-15

This is the 2nd year we've stayed in this unit. The layout works well for our family. The unit is best entered by the back deck door when unloading and loading due to stairs necessary for front door entry. Our grandkids are now 5 and are too small for skiing, so we spent one day tubing, one day ice skating and two days sledding on small slopes near the condo. There were no MAJOR issues or problems with the unit. We will return next year.

Not worth price

The townhome was very outdated , no central air or heat , upstairs bedrooms were hot the entire time unless we opened windows . Mold and mildew and moisture absorbers all over the townhome , advertised shuttle to slope would run every 30 minutes however waited over 2 hours and never ran . They blamed on traffic and condo management said they have no control over the shuttle.

We are sorry to hear your stay was less than enjoyable. We do not advise it as having HVAC, majority of condos on the mountain built more than 20 years ago do not have HVAC. Because of this we have to have moisture absorbers in the unit to prevent mildew, as I'm sure guests would rather have moisture absorbers than have mildew in the units. It is true that we have absolutely NO control over the shuttle. That is run by the ski resort and we cannot make them adhere to a schedule. We advised you this the multiple times you called us to state the shuttle had not arrived. Each time we advised we had no control over it and gave you the number to the ski resort to contact them. Again we are sorry the shuttle impacted your stay but again this had nothing to do with the unit itself or the rating it was given.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo should be deemed "un-rentable". I am not a critical person and never write bad reviews until now. We have a hand written list to the rental agency but top things: dirty and very very outdated - it was disgusting dirty - esp bathrooms: dishwasher - not only not functional but bottom was filled will an inch of cloudy, smelly, foul water; dryer took 3 hours to dry small load; front door lock would not work; curtain rod in master broken and would not stay up; funky odor throughout; dozens of "damp rid" containers sitting around the condo which were gross; no explanation on how to use TV's and heating units - even maintenance person had trouble figuring out.

Reviewer Comments: it was great.. beautiful unit , it just needs a little TLC.. the key we received only worked the lower door which was inconvenient, the door handle upstairs came off in our hand when we entered, you should provide a detailed step-by-step instructions for the TV and the thermostat as they are pretty complicated. also water heater broke but you guys fixed it fast so it was fine. overall.. was really fun!
