Nicole, I'm truly so sorry you had such an awful experience, this is definitely not a normal experience here at our site. Unfortunately I feel that there was several miscommunication issues due to lack of signal- as you know it's a remote area and as often as possible we respond quickly, but there are times when messages do not go through. It's disheartening to hear that you missed the special touches we created for you in the tent in the hopes it would make your stay more comfortable. We also communicated with you to help you with the wood burning stove, in which you declined our support. In regards to the propane, grill and stove, we checked it after you left and it was all working, therefore it would have been an easy fix we would have been happy to guide you through if you would have communicated directly with us. Unfortunately, we did not receive your message about the propane issue. My understanding was you had left without informing us of your concerns, upon checking the messages we were shocked to find that everything did not fit your needs, We had spoken to you in the evening the night of your stay, and it was just 10am the next morning that you left us a message outlining your concerns without giving us the opportunity to make it right. Since we had just spoken to you the night before and you had expressed everything was great, it's unfortunate in such a short time, you experienced so many challenges and we are truly sorry for that. I do wish you would have reached out to us directly when you had service, as I called and left a message to rectify these concerns, in which you did not respond. The soap situation is rather odd, but I imagine you smelled soap because we deeply clean all our dishes (sometimes dishes will smell like soap if they are very clean however there was no soap residue in the cups at the time of our sanitization process). I do feel that all of your concerns would have been alleviated had you have communicated directly (when you were able to get service) as we always strive to work together to problem solve and feel that you never gave us the opportunity to do so. It sounds like you had a negative sentiment override experience that kept you from enjoying the shower, which I do wish you had the pleasure of experiencing. As for the whirlpool, I'll definitely make sure that is not on the listing as it must be a mistake. We made sure to explain how rustic this experience is in our listing, and to come prepared with water and whatever you need as this is meant to be a camping experience. We ask you take your trash with you due to bears and wildlife in the area, as you would at any campsite. It's truly a shame, we would have liked to connect with you so we could have helped make your stay more comfortable.
