Our home is located in a burgeoning area. The improvements to older homes are sweeping through each neighborhood and our home is in one of those neighborhoods.

It is located in the historic Strathmore neighborhood. Strathmore is a historic residential area with many beautiful turn of the century homes.
Just a few steps away is the Strathmore reservoir, which features one of the best views of Syracuse. Take a short walk to view the sunset over Syracuse and have a picnic. Around the top of the reservoir is a popular walking trail.

Strathmore is also home of one of the cities most beautiful parks, Upper Onondaga Park, which is only an 8 min walk from the home. The circular drive around the park features the Monday Mile walk. The park features meandering paths with weeping willows, a stone bridge, kayak rentals on the pond and an iconic island gazebo. This park is frequently used by wedding photographers.

This home is near Stolp Ave, a busy city street that has vehicle traffic and typical city noises, however the street this home is on is fairly quiet.

The home is a few blocks from Bellevue Country Club and a short drive to Burnet Park Golf Course, and Rosamond Gifford Zoo.

Groceries are only minutes away with Wegmans and Price Chopper down the hill on Onondaga Blvd.
