Ocean/Beach Front 🐳🐬w/ Panoramic Oceanviews🌅🪂

Our home is located right in front of Pacific Ocean and just 15 mins away from SF and SFO. Situated on the second floor of a duplex, its large windows create splendid ocean views. The ocean smell and waves make the vacation very relaxed. Whale watching, surfing, gliding or just viewing sunsets are all memorable activities. Beach access is just across the street. Our home was recently remodeled with all brand new smart appliances and furniture. TV/lights can be turned on/off via voice commands.

This is a two bedroom and one bathroom upstairs unit. A flight of 17 stairs will lead you to our home. All the beds have new foam mattresses, beddings and pillows. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart home display, which you can control appliances and lights via voice. There is an open style living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living area has games to play and a 70 inch TV with Netflix. We installed a smart bidet toilet with the multifunction hands-free innovations. It has auto flush with sensor-driven soft-closing lid that opens and closes intuitively.

We share one wall with our neighbor of the duplex. Please keep your sound low after 9 pm. We have installed outdoor security cameras. Please kindly let us know if you are expecting visitors. Any extra guests even if they do not spend the night or pets are subject to a fine of $200 per day per guest unless approved.

We are excited for you to stay here, but please read ALL house rules before booking. There will be a $500 fine for breaking house rules. Thanks!

Guests will have the access to the whole apartment except one closet in the hallway, which has been used as our storage room.

Access code to the smart lock will be given after reservation.

Other things to note
Similar to the majority of homes in the area, our residence does not have air conditioning. However, with the cooler local temperatures, opening the windows allows ocean breezes to naturally cool the space.

Any unregistered guests or pets, regardless of overnight stay, will incur a fee of $200 per day per guest/pet, unless prior approval has been granted.

I rented this space for some of my family who came into town for the weekend and they loved it. They appreciated all the household amenities and enjoyed the oceanfront views! Highly recommend and would rent this space again!

Great location

Arlene’s property is well furnished and updated. The location cannot be beat. We really enjoyed watching the waves in the morning and walking down to the beach and sipping wine on the deck in the evening. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We would for sure stay here again.

Great place to stay!

The place was clean and the property manager was extremely quick to respond to messages. Great view of the ocean from the property. The beach is good for walking during the day and is pet friendly, but not a good spot for swimming we were told. There is a state beach 5 minutes away that is good for swimming and surfing. The entrance to the beach is very steep, would be difficult for someone with an injury or handicap. We had a good time and glad to find this spot that was close enough to San Francisco to go do things and sightsee.

Very clean and newly decorated condo. Loved having the front porch to sit on to watch the ocean. Just was very communicative and was able to accommodate our requests. Side note-loved the heated toilet. Obsessed!!

Seaside apartment

The apartment was exactly as listed. It was conveniently located across the street from an undeveloped cliff-side lot, short walking distance to a beach access, and near a grocery store. The views from the unit are stunning! The unit was clean on the inside, but the three large windows facing the Pacific could use with an exterior washing, which is a neverending task with the ocean mist. Everything in the unit worked with no problems. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Comfy space with wonderful view of the Pacific!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Arlene's place, it had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the ocean. We did not have a car, so it was nice to have so many restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We even walked to a bus stop and then took the train into San Francisco one day. The path down to the beach is easily navigable as well. The condo has a nice kitchen and bath, and the king bed was comfy. We didn't use the second bedroom so can't comment on that. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare a meal. Loved the bidet and thanks so much for the bottle of wine! You won't regret staying here!

Pacifica weekend getaway

This is a very well appointed, furnished residence overlooking the Pacific Ocean with a beach about 100 feet below, accessible by a walking path and stairs. We had a good time with hiking down to the beach, finding shells, jelly fish, and talking to the fishermen. Sea birds were lovely. We liked the kitchen appliances, the living room, the observation telescope out the picture windo to the sea. The local (walking distance) ethnic restaurants included Chinese, Turkish, Italian, and sea food establishments which had tasty food, good sized servings and good prices. We especially like the morning espresso and pastries at the Chit-Chat cafe, which is a not fancy, community based coffee shop. (We even heard live Hawaian music one morning there.) The one drawback that we experienced was loud neighbors, with fire cracker explosions one night and loud drinking party in the parking lot behind the residence for part of the the next night. However, the overall experience was great.

I received this survey even though I had received a cancellation by the host of the VRBO. We did not stay at this location it was “cancelled” due to overbooking. This pit us in a very inconvenient position requiring us to spend an hour on the phone with VRBO trying to find a replacement for our family of 4 as we were traveling from out of state.
