Cozy family cottage w/ fireplace, near lake and national forest.

We apologize for your great disappointment. We have had this property available for vacation rental for less than a year and our earnings from VRBO are exclusively used to maintain and improve the property. Your review will unfortunately reduce the number of bookings we receive and impair our ability to invest in the property to make it nicer for future guests. Such a poor review comes as quite a shock since we have had several glowing 5-star reviews from other guests. We work hard to clean and maintain the property as well as keep it supplied with amenities for our guests. We don't believe that the listing description, details, or photos are in any way deceptive. It is pretty obvious from the photos that this is an older mobile home that has not been updated. If that is not up to your standards, I'm sure there are plenty of remodeled cabins/cottages in the area available at higher prices. We are also aware that the internet is slow but there are no reliable high speed options available in that location. It would have been appreciated had you communicated your grievances directly rather than just trashing us in a review, but that is the nature of today's social culture apparently. Had you let us know that you were unhappy with the property upon arriving, we could have at least issued you a partial refund and you could have moved on. We do understand that a property like this is not suited for all families but we love it and many other families have loved it as well.
