Perfect home for large families, reunions or groups of friends. We have hosted bridal parties, multi-generational family reunions, and many grandparents looking to gather their kids and grandkids for a week of togetherness. Many bedrooms make it easy to spread out. 4 bedrooms upstairs and lots of room downstairs for kids to bunk up. Local wineries, breweries, cideries and golf courses make Southwest Michigan a perfect vacation spot. New pickleball courts at New Buffalo High School! The Warren Dunes are a 5 minute drive.

We had a wonderful week with our 5 children and their spouses,and 5 grandchildren. Fun walks to the beach and relaxing quality time there every day. Plenty of room in the kitchen with everything you need. So great to have the extra fridge and freezer handy in the garage. The house is in top shape. The beds are very comfy. Huge backyard. We would definitely go back.

Good location on a quiet street. Enjoyable 10 minute walk to a great beach. Nice, big backyard for everyone to play with a great fire pit. Plenty of bedrooms for a group of 14 which included young kids, teens and adults. Very well stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc. Plenty of bath towels for all, but oddly not a single wash cloth. We had to make a trip to the store and purchase a bunch. The propane tanks were out so we had to fill one up out of our own pockets which was a little surprising. And there’s a water pressure system that made a subtly obnoxious noise all night long that is quite loud in a few of the bedrooms. Things go wrong, I get it it, but I saw this in a previous review and hoped it would’ve been fixed prior to our stay. Aside from that, a great home that I recommend.

Loved easy walk to Cherry Beach, Luisa's Cafe and Swedish Bakery too. Loved the large deck and yard for our family of 8 adults and 4 littles. Kitchen appliances worked well, outdoor grill too. 2-car att garage served as a good play area with garage door open on drizzly days. Bathroom lacked a tub so we had to rent one for the littles. An ensuite would have been great but we shared the two on the main level. Laundry machines worked great. One of the mechanicals in the basement needed service (vibrated on and off constantly) and owner said she'd take care of that. We had a wonderful family vacation!

We had a great stay in Lakeside. There were plenty of rooms and beds to go around for our party of 12. Basement was a must for spreading out. It was really hot (well over 100) when we visited and the house stayed nice and cool those days. Kitchen was well stocked with plates and kitchenware for cooking. Patio had nice furniture for us to all eat outside together. The beach stuff (several chairs, at least 5 giant floaties, wagon, plenty of huge beach towels) were incredible and we made sure to take good care of it all because it is not common for rentals to come with that sort of stuff. It was fantastic and added a layer of fun.

Perfect Extended Family Vacation House!

We stayed for 7 nights with 8 adults and 10 kids ranging from 3-15. Each adult couple had a bedroom upstairs to themselves with ample room for everything we brought, storage to organize it plus space to just relax. All the kids enjoyed the bunk room, twin beds room and the queen bedroom. We put the ones who need to go to sleep first in the bunk room which was quiet and away from all the noise upstairs. The living space plus pool room gave the kids plenty of space to spread out and play. The living room upstairs was open to the dining room and kitchen and paired with the vaulted ceiling made the space feel even bigger than it was. In the garage there was an extra full refrigerator and freezer and every lake item we could need! It truly exceeded our expectations! We would drop off the kids and some adults at the beach, drove our vans back to the house and walk back to the beach. It was a nice, shaded walk that took us about 10-15 mins at a leisurely pace. The host had the kitchen and bathrooms completely stocked. Seriously, it was such good hospitality and we always had what we needed - pots/pans/serving dishes/appliances/grilling stuff. It was all there. The bathroom and linen closet were both stocked with towels galore- plenty for showers but also beach towels. She also had toiletry needs met with little bottles in case someone ran out or forgot anything. Perfectly clean, everything well cared for! 10/10 recommend!

Pleasant retreat

The property was just as was described. We had 6 adults and 2 children which it easily accommodated. It served as a gathering place for our family including my son and wife who live in Three Oaks. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen although we didn't cook while there. The backyard and deck was private and pleasant. TV was important too because we needed to be able to watch the UM football game. The host was responsive and helpful at every turn. Great location for the beach too.

Perfect for a large group!

Our group consisted of family members from four different households, ranging in age from 14 to 88. This house was perfect for all of us. The teens/young adults enjoyed the spacious downstairs area, which they claimed as “theirs”! The rest of us appreciated the large rooms and comfy beds in the four main floor bedrooms. There were plenty of places to sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful weather. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, including beach towels and beach toys. The walk to the beach was easy. We did notice the beach parking area filled up quickly so those who chose to drive down left early enough to grab a parking spot. Mary was very easy to work with and was quick to respond to inquiries. I highly recommend this rental and would gladly stay here again!

Fully stocked lake house!

A group of 4 friends met at this wonderful lake house for a 3 night stay. This house was fully tsockdd with everything. The location was close to the beach. If you plan to drive leave esrly.to get parking though! The beach is within walking distance, but not ideal if you're hauling floats and other things down there. There was ample room for all of us and our kids. There was enough parking for all 4 of our large vehicles. The deck was lovely and the outdoor firepit was great. We were surprised by all of amenities that were included. If we travel to this area again we would definitely stay here again!

Cherry Beach Retreat

This house was great. Exceeded our expectations. Had everything we needed. Kitchen and baths very well stocked and beach supplies an added plus. The walk to beautiful Cherry Beach was easy and pleasant. The whole family, ages 1 year to 84 enjoyed the spectacular sunset every night! We would definitely rent here again!

Great place for family gathering

15 of us stayed here for 3 nights. There was plenty of space for all. We did not have en suite bathrooms for all the couples, but we were fine sharing! The cousins loved the bunk room! It was nice to be close to the more private beach, but also just a short drive from dunes and shops in several places.

Great house in a great location!

Our entire family (kids and grandparents included) vacationed in this house and has a wonderful stay! The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of yard space and a great deck. The beach was a short walk away and all beach supplies were available in the house including towels, sand toys and chairs. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. We would love to stay here again!

The Perfect Vacation Spot!

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at this amazing property! It had plenty of room for myself and my husband along with our kids and spouses and grandparents! Each person had their own personal space and we did not feel like we were on top of each other at all. The house is stocked far above and beyond anything that we have had at any other rental property - and we have stayed at a lot of them! The kitchen had everything we could have needed and the bathrooms as well. The beach supplies were abundant and we enjoyed them very much! The deck and backyard were perfect with seating for everyone in our large group and plenty of space for our nightly volleyball game - very big perk! The fire pit had room for all of us to sit around as well. The beach was perfect with great quality sand and water and plenty of space to spread out and not feel crowded. You can walk for miles in either direction. The stairs to get down the beach are in good shape and easy to navigate and the parking at the top of the stairs made it easy to get all of our supplies from the house to the beach. Mary has been very quick to respond to any questions that I had about the property and location and the property manager responded very quickly to a question we had about using the TV. Everyone in the family agreed that this was the perfect location for our yearly family vacation! It was a blessing to find this place and we hope to return next year!

Wonderful stay near the beach

Our group had a wonderful stay at this property. Mary was a great host - very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The property itself is perfect - plenty of comfortable beds and bedrooms, a large deck and yard, and tons of space for our large group. The little things are taken care of, too: ample towels, toiletries, and all the kitchen accessories you need. Certainly the most homey rental property we have stayed at. The house is about a half mile to a nice sandy beach, and plenty of chairs, toys, and floaties are provided. No complaints whatsoever; everyone in our group was happy with our stay. Highly recommend!

I chose Cherry Beach because it was always quiet and great for families. It has gotten busier in recent years as it was name “a best kept secret” on popular websites. The walk to the beach is 5 blocks, but we are on the beach side of red arrow so it’s a lovely tree lined walk. We have a wagon to cart your beach items, but you can drive down and pay to park for the day ($15) or just run a car down and drop off all your chairs, coolers, etc.
Our home is surprisingly large - with LOTS of beds. I work hard to make sure it is well stocked and comfortable. Nice linens and towels matter, so we don't skimp on that! It is also important for it to be clean and uncluttered. I want guests to feel comfortable and relaxed. I hope you find the home appropriately appointed.

Lots of high quality beds! Nice bedding. Plenty of paper products, linens, towels, laundry detergent. I don’t skimp on the needs in a home.
LARGE yard to play - volleyball net and plenty of beach toys and floaties.
I also make sure the place is clean. We have high standards and I come check the cleanliness of the house several times per summer while it is being cleaned. I have great reviews because we work hard to make this a clean and beautiful home for your vacation.
