Neu im Mietmarkt! Eulen-Nest-Strandhaus. Ein großer privater Sandstrand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Der Sandstrand ist ideal für lange Spaziergänge, zum Schwimmen, Spielen in den Wellen oder einfach zum Entspannen bei Ihrem Lieblingsgetränk. Genießen Sie Ihren Abend am Strandfeuer.
Das Owls Nest verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer mit erhöhten Decken und 3 Badezimmer. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Das kleine Gästehaus dient als zweites Hauptschlafzimmer / Wohnzimmer und verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Das Eulennest verfügt über einen großen offenen Grundriss mit einem Holzkamin und erhöhten Decken. Dieses Strandhaus ist ideal für einen Familienurlaub oder einen ruhigen romantischen Kurzurlaub.
Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und bietet eine Frühstücksbar.
Die Veranda ist perfekt für Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen im Freien.

Another great stay

This is our third summer staying at the Owls Nest. The layout is great, the location to the beach is a short walk and the owners are great with communication. Booking for next year already!

Quiet, Relaxing Stay

The Owl's Nest is outfitted for complete relaxation in several settings -- great room, screen porch, front porch and fire pit. The location is ideal -- steps from the beach and the Whistle Stop provisioner. Union Pier and New Buffalo have several lovely restaurants and a unique weekend outdoor market at Skip's. Check out Robus with delicious chilled soups and salads. This was our second stay and we will be back.

Great location, fun house

Short walk to the beach, and while the dune was a little steep coming up, it was still very manageable even with infants. Having the coffee shop at the end of the street was a fantastic bonus. We loved the covered porch and huge sun benches! Great for chatting and hanging out. Guest house was cute, probably best suited for teens and kids. Very clean with everything you could need, would stay again next year!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great 2.5 day stay at Owls Nest with family. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything you could need or want and in a prime location, just a block to the beach. The beach was beautiful. Soft sand, clear blue water and private. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return next year!

Perfectly Located and Well Stocked Beach Cabin

The owners have thought of everything at this cozy little beach cabin - extra blankets, beach towels, oodles of beach toys, beach chairs, movies, games, magazines, grilling equipment. It was a lovely cabin - the children especially enjoyed hanging out on the huge window seats in the sunshine and walking the short block down to the beach. Great stay!

Perfect family getaway

The house was perfect for our family and just a block away from the beach. It was clean and much bigger than I thought it would be. The teenagers enjoyed having their own space in the bunkhouse. We’ve already booked it again for next summer!

Quiet and Convenient Stay by the Beach

Our family had a great weekend at the Owls Nest. The location is perfect. If you bring groceries, there is no need for a car. The beach is a short walk away (even with toddlers) and the restaurant at the end of the street is a great place to bring the kids too. The house is clean and spacious and had everything we needed, from beach chairs to Roku.

Beautiful Home

The host went above and beyond, he had a delivery company bring out a new highchair and crib. The home is beautiful, the location is great. We had an amazing time and look forward to returning.

Perfect family spot

Our 7 person family had a wonderful beach week! My mom had her own space in the guest house and the main house was perfect for my brother, sister in law their 3 kids and myself (3 bedrooms). The shed had a ton of beach toys and the house was stocked with towels and everything we needed in the kitchen. Martin thought of everything and was super responsive. I was also shocked to see how close the roadhouse restaurant and whistle stop grocer were, just a quick 5m walk. Hoping we can rent again next year!

Perfect family destination

My family loves this property for our summer vacation. The home's open floor plan lends itself to just hanging out, cooking meals, watching TV, and catching up on the U-shaped window seat. The guest cottage is a great place to go for those who need a little seclusion. There's plenty of beach toys and gear for all ages, and a nice fire pit to gather around in the evening. The host is very responsive and helpful with any issues that come up during your stay. Can't wait to come back again!!

Very comfortable home!

Spacious main house! The smaller/secondary home was humid and had small bugs, and not 'sealed' from the outdoor elements adequately. A big draw of the home was easy access to the private beach - but it was overrun with 'biting flies' during our stay (first week in June). We're not locals, and weren't aware of this before our stay.

Beach Heaven

The Owls Nest is great on many levels. The house is very well stocked with supplies. Had every kitchen utensil we needed and lots of beach toys and furniture. A very short walk to the beach made it all the more enjoyable - you did not fret if you had to walk back to the house for anything. Martin is a great host and we hope to stay at the Owls Nest again someday.

Family Time

Loved out stay at the Owls Nest beach house. Very clean and everything there that you need. Guest house is a cozy cutie with extra space for privacy and down time. Private yard for fun and bon fires. Lovely neighborhood and very close walk to the beach. Quiet clean beach and lots of opportunity to make many wonderful memories. Definitely would visit again. Advertisement of offering of things to do.

We loved staying at your place. Thee only disappointment was the advertisement for the kayaks and canoe. Who could carry those down the steep embankment. Unless you in your 20,s. My husband has a few disabilities . The walk wasn’t far but the embankment going down and mostly coming up was VERY difficult.

Amazing Beach Cottage

A superb place for us to bring the whole family for a week at the beach! The combined main cottage and smaller side cabin easily accommodated our family of 9. There were multiple gathering places - both inside and outdoors - for us to hang out. The semi-private, very uncrowded beach was an easy 10-minute walk down the street. And Martin provided all the beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and sand toys we needed. We especially enjoyed going down for the sunset every evening. We were just far enough away from the New Buffalo rat race, yet within an easy 5-10-minute drive for groceries or dinner out. The Owl's Nest is located in a very quiet residential area, and we even met some of the friendly neighbors. This was an ideal place for our family retreat, Martin was an amazing host, and we are hoping to return next year.

Family Vacation

Our stay at Owls Nest went beyond my expectations in every way! Truth be told, I over packed as I was not sure what to expect. The owners have thought of everything from beach chairs and towels to a more than well equipped kitchen. This place had everything we needed to make our family feel right at home. We are a family of 6, stayed a full week and it was hard to leave. We will definitely visit this rental again in the future (our kids are already planning the next trip)!

Beach House with All We Could Want

The house is bright, open, comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed reading on the front porch and dining on the screened porch. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc., made those we brought unnecessary. The wagon made the half-block walk to the beach, that much easier. The shed had ample room for bike storage and the nearby bike routes were well-marked and lovely. All-in-all, we were able to settle in quickly and vacation seamlessly.

Cottage was adorable and well stocked. You need to look closely at map and location of home in description it states "steps from the beach" but it was a pretty good walk especially with kids, toys bags etc. so look carefully at property on the map if you are wanting something close proximity to beach. Also a very steep walk down to beach so is tricky If you have elderly people or lots of stuff.

A Lake Michigan dream!

We knew we wanted a beach day on the Lake but did not anticipate how much our kids would want to keep returning to it and this place offered that quite easily! We also shopped and ate at restaurants in New Buffalo. The house itself has a fenced in yard and great privacy, perfect for our kids. Also, you'll see in the photos a picture of the window seats. The pictures make this area look much smaller than it really is! It was a constant place where multiple people could comfortably relax. Great town, great home.

Lovely Accommodation and Location

We are two seniors who shared the house and cottage with our adult children and their families. The cottage was perfect for my daughter and her husband who have a one-year-old. The main house is well accessorized, bright, and airy. We loved sitting out by the campfire in the evening and walking the neighborhood after dark under the stars . The beach is beautiful - fine sand but a little challenging to climb back up for us older folks. We found a more gradual public access a little further down the road. All in all, it was a great success as a family gathering.

Open concept living. Nice linens, pillows and nicely stocked. Perfect for walking to the beach if your healthy. If you have stair climbing issues this walk to the beach wouldn’t be good. There is a steep incline in the sand and lots of steps. You can’t easily take a wagon up and down the beach entrance. We didn’t mind it at all, but someone with walking challenges wouldn’t be accommodated well. The house was lovely and the owner answered questions super quick. Guest house was musty but very clean and nice. We would definitely come back! Also loved the coffee shop within a half block. We loved that feature!

Very close to a fantastic Private Beach. Even with Lake Michigan being very high the beach is still in great shape. The property has the main house with three bed rooms and two bathrooms. It also has a guest house with a 3/4 bath inside and an outside shower.
