The upper level is designed for family living with an open kitchen and living area boasting vaulted ceilings with Alder tongue and groove ceiling, modern lighting, dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows and ledge-stone gas fireplace with mounted 46" LED TV with wireless streaming capabilities. The designer kitchen has a custom gas stove built into kitchen island, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher and double stove, wine fridge and is well-stocked with dishware for all to enjoy a delicious meal. There's room for three to sit at the white granite kitchen island or make it more formal in the dining area for 6. Off the living space is a spacious deck where you can grill and enjoy even those chilly nights when you gather by the firepit table.
The master bedroom is also on the upper level, has a King Bed, flat screen television with streaming capabilities, a huge walk-in closet with built-in shelving and access to a private and chic master bath with over-sized walk-in shower, double vanity and soaking tub.
Down the stairs, you will find a second living area, access to the 2 car garage and second patio, two full bathrooms with laundry area in addition to bedrooms two, three and four. Two of those bedrooms offer comfy queen beds and the third, a Pyramid bunk that sleeps three guests with ease. All three have nice-size closets and premium bedding, and each bedroom has a distinguishing feature. One provides access to the lower level patio, one provides entertainment on a ROKU TV and the other provides privacy when using the ensuite bathroom. There's a queen blow-up mattress for overflow capacity too. The oversized two car garage will keep your vehicle safe and dry on winter nights.
In the summer, this house is a real Tahoe rarity - home has A/C! You are also welcome to use the cart stored in the garage to haul the provided beach equipment to the perfect spot on the sandy beaches of Lake Tahoe!

We loved the stay so much! The house was amazing with really good facilities! We really loved the stay!
The only concern we had was about the non-stick pans in the kitchen. They were worn out and need replacement. Everything else was perfect!

Underwhelmed
Bottom line: The house was okay, but the real problem was the management company. Because of them, I would not recommend this property to others.Positives: The location is great, the square footage is sufficient, and there is a nice master bedroom suite. We also appreciated access to a garage, an upper floor deck with BBQ and fire table, and the second living room.Negatives: The beds in the three downstairs bedrooms were pretty uncomfortable, to the point that some of us had to sleep on couches and it took us several days to recover from back issues. Cleanliness was an issue (trash left in property upon arrival, clothes drawers caked with dust). I would have ignored these and other small inconveniences (screen door issues, window blind issues, etc), but the management company was so problematic that it truly ruined our experience. They dismissed real problems with the bear box that led to us having to clean up both the previous tenant’s trash and our own trash on multiple occasions due to the latch not functioning properly. They also charged us a pet fee when we did not have one and for damage we did not cause, totaling almost 1000, over a week after checkout without even a courtesy note to confirm such details. We are not Tahoe newbies and have had only positive experiences at other properties in the area with different management, including on this trip. It is unfortunate they left such a bad taste in our mouth on what could have otherwise been a decent getaway.

Caroline, I apologize that our company ruined your experience. Although, this is exactly why we as a company take photos before and after arrival and departure. Before you arrived, the master bedroom carpet was clean, but upon departure there was a massive urine stain. Whether or not a dog was involved (which was our first instinct) charges still needed to be pursued so we could have that home and carpet cleaned properly upon your departure. Secondly, the owner (who does not have small children OR pets) was the previous guest so it was quite apparent to him upon your departure that the damage had occurred during your stay. And finally, these charges were administered a week after your stay because we needed adequate time to research and ensure it was you who caused these issues so we did not charge you for something you didn't do; we were also workshopping our message to you regarding what these charges were for so we could give you the courtesy of confirming the details you claim we did not. We wish that you had brought up some of these more minor inconveniences to us during your stay because we pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and would have taken proper steps to resolve anything necessary. As far as the trash goes though, I am not sure how often trash pickup is in your area but here in Tahoe trash pickup occurs once a week- which is not ideal but there is not much more we can do. I can assure you though that no garbage was INSIDE the home because we reviewed the photos on file for both the pre-arrival inspection and the cleaning as well. Again, we apologize for your less than satisfactory experience- but we appreciate you giving our company a try. We wish you the best of luck in your future travels.

The property is newly remodeled. And the remodel was done well. Very happy with the house overall and have stayed in a bunch of homes in North Lake through the years. It is a little short on plates, glasses and cooking gear if you have a full house.Property management needs to do a better job. Examples include Internet was wonky, short on toiletries/detergent, cobwebs (you pay a hefty cleaning fee) and disposal didn't work - figured out it was unplugged. Plus when I informed them the sliding glass porch door doesn't close/lock they said it was fine as on a second story. Not right for what we paid per night.Be aware that getting into Kings Beach will mean dealing with traffic, even just to get onto 28 from 267. It is convenient to many areas.
