Seville Square was originally an 1752 outpost known as San Miguel, and when the British took control of Pensacola, it was laid out as a public square by Elias Dunford in 1764. When the Spanish regained control in 1813, it was designated a public plaza and named for Seville, Spain. Today, the Seville Square Historic District spans more than 100 acres in the urban core of downtown, with a mix of housing types and a focus on beauty and a sense of place.

But if you're feeling wild, there are all sorts of rentals available, like bikes (including e-bikes and e-scooters) and Segways to add some excitement to your travels. Or, if you're feeling daring, you can try out the less-than-user-friendly public buses. Or you can always just call an Uber or Lyft and let someone else do the driving.
