This family-friendly duplex unit has a prime location with the best sunrise views of the ocean. You will enjoy drinking a morning cup of coffee or eating dinner on the screened porch overlooking the water. Just steps from the new Ocean View Park and the Holiday Inn beach access, Bill Smith House is perfect for a family vacation or a weekend getaway. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit is still owned by the original family who built it and maintains a lot of the mid-century charm. (This unit does not have a dishwasher.)

Pool Privileges provided at Holiday Inn.

PET FRIENDLY. NO SMOKING.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, and dish soap. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

Delightful Getaway

Very comfortable, great location - easy walk for 90yo MIL to the beach, and pet friendly. Just what we were looking for.

Was not clean. I could write my name in the dust on the headboard . Outdated decor and furnishings . Advertised as beach view and there is no view . Loved the island but will pick another place to stay .

View is top of the line!

You can’t beat the view! We stayed here with my parents for the shrimp and grits festival! The location was perfect! We parked our cars when we arrived and bikes everywhere we wanted to go.

Fantastic first time Jekyll Island vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation stay at Bill Smith A. The location is perfect being centrally located on the island and beach access directly across the street. We enjoyed sitting and eating dinner on the screened in porch with direct view of the ocean. Plenty of seating in the family room to relax. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Jekyll Island.

Great Location

We absolutely loved our first time in Jekyll Island and this place is a great central location, so it’s close to anything on the island. Back screened porch has a great view of the ocean as nothing is developed across the street. Lots of wildlife around .. always got visits from deer in the evening. Will definitely be returning to Jekyll and will consider this place again as our stay.

Great place, perfect location! Not mentioned in the description is the beach wagon! My only complaint would be the lack of WiFi code. We never received it even after I reached out. No big deal , we managed without it just fine . Highly recommend this place!

Can't beat the beautiful sunrise every morning. Deers walking in front of screened in porch. Walking paths. Fishing, not the best. Bad no seeums bad at pier, surf fishing, so-so. Beach Village market? Go inland for grocery store unless you have extra spending money. You have my email address if you want to hear about my negatives with House A. Thank you.
