Good location for medical, the pool was great

We were in Houston for medical and location was perfect. We also enjoyed being a short distance from the museum district and some great restaurants. The gated apartment complex was neat and tidy, the pool was fantastic. The unit itself was conveniently on the ground floor and parking was easy, I found a spot in the shade almost every day. All in all a cute little spot.

Diana was an amazing guest. She left the place nice and Clean. She was very pleasant, and responded to messages in a timely manner. I highly recommend her to other hosts and would definitely host her again when next she's in town.

Medical visit

Property was very close to MD Anderson and very convenient to make appointments without having to fight the Houston traffic. Parking at this unit was also very convenient. Apartment was clean and communication between the property owner was very responsive. Directions to get into the complex and entry to the apartment was very clear and easy. I would stay here again if we need to return for a long period of time for doctor appointments.

You get what you pay for

The stay was fine up until the end. Pros: - A great price and located in the medical district, so it's pretty quiet. - The apartment matches the pictures. - The host is very quick with responses! Cons: - Not located near a lot of food options. - Not the cleanest unit. There was a hair on the shower curtain, silverware and pans were dirty, etc. - It's also pretty run down with its finishes. - The scent pod they used was nauseating. We ended up putting it under the sink. I was willing to dismiss the above complaints because the price was so great (especially for Beyonce weekend)! The issue occurred when my sister and I checked out of the apartment. I requested a late c/o of noon. The host accommodated that change. At 11:58 a.m., a strange man came to the door right when we were about to walk out. There was no indication that he was affiliated with the unit or the owner. He claimed that he was cleaning the apartment and proceeded to bring in bags of supplies and groceries to put away. I notified the owner once we were safely in our car at 12:08 after making a few trips. We were really uncomfortable with the entire ordeal. She stated that I was mistaken about the time and that her cleaner came to the door at 12:05 according to her Ring Camera. I ended up asking Vrbo to send me a timestamped copy of our chat and it confirmed my version of the events. It really was an unpleasant end to our otherwise average stay.

Hello, First and foremost,we would like to address the issue with the checkout time. Thank you for your stay. As far as the check-out, we usually charge guests a fee for a late check-out ,if it is after 11AM, in this case you were accommodated at no extra charge as a courtesy and you were notified that cleaners would arrive at 12 noon, per schedule. The “strange man" that you mentioned was, in fact, the owner of the apartment bringing cleaning supplies for the apartment and for the cleaners and he arrived after the agreed check out time,(we have time stamp to prove that as well) it was agreed upon that you would be out of the unit at exactly 12 noon, which you didn't leave at the agreed time. I have the time stamps to prove that, which I already sent you a screenshot as well. A guest was going to check in on the same day at 2pm, the cleaners needed at least 2 hours to get the unit ready. You held the cleaners from starting the cleaning at 12 noon, and we also risked losing our next guest if we didn't get the unit sparkling clean and ready before the check-in time. There was no intent to make anyone feel uncomfortable during or at the end of your stay. Regarding the strand of hair you mentioned, We apologize for any oversight in this aspect and will address it with our cleaning team to ensure that such issues do not occur in the future, we are committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene for our guests.
