What an awesome house for our long term stay! Charles and Judy were amazing at making sure the property was clean and that we knew where everything was. The layout is really spacious and cozy. Plenty of bathrooms for our family of 6 which is a big plus. The backyard property is beautiful, and the pool is one of the nicest we've seen in a Vrbo. We would highly recommend this space for any stay!

A great base

Judy and Charles have a wonderful spot here - close to lots of things to do while still having a country feel; our group loved watching deer come to feed on the property! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Wonderful Home.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The location was close to a couple of parks where we could walk our dogs, and there were a number of great restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream shops within a few miles. We enjoyed the game room and the pool each day, and the beds were all very comfortable.

Perfect Location!

Perfect location for out of town family, pool! and plenty of parking for in town family to come over. Different grill options, outdoor seating overlooking the creek. The pool and margarita bar is where we spent most of our time. The house was well stocked, from kitchen having everything we needed to make big meals for a party of 16. The whole house is updated. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well decorated and had nice towels and other supplies. Game room was a big hit with the kids. We rent through VRBO often and this is one of our favorite stays! We’re already planning for next family get together.

Great place for a family vacation

Our family had a great time. The hosts were very kind and attentive. Kitchen was fully stocked. The kids loved the play area and our two dogs loved the fenced area. Pool was our favorite part of the house. Lots of lounging and eating areas. We would book this property again for our next vacation.

Nice property for family getaway

Overall we had a really great time at this property. The pool and margarita bar was amazing and that is where we spent most of our time. The house itself was great also with all the amenities you could ask for. My only complaint is that the property is that it sits right on a busy road and that was not shown in the pictures.

Overall very nice place to stay. The master room bed was a little lumpy and the sheets were lacking in thread quality. The hosts were very nice to us and it was great having our own Swimming pool and cabana. Great area with close access to restaurants and other amenities. Natural Bridge Caverns exit off I35 was just very close to our retreat.

Perfect for a fun getaway

It was nice having a private pool. The game room was fun for a break from the sun. AC worked really well. There is traffic noise but we were a large group there to celebrate a 21st birthday so it didn't bother us. Having a grill was convenient. Location was great. Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

This property is awesome. It has plenty of room for a large group. Charles was amazing and very helpful. We had a soccer team dinner and we fit around 20 people very comfortably around the pool and outdoor area. Charles let us borrow crock pots and provide propane so we could grill out. We will look to stay here again.

City/Country Getaway with Groovy Pool

We loved the roominess of the home and the game room that overlooks a groovy porch area with views of deer and birds- a peaceful spot for morning coffee or evening family hangouts. All bedrooms were comfortable & each had a tv. Big kitchen and dining area for eating and/or playing games. A fenced in area for pets was handy. I adored the pool area, especially after breakfast and early evening. The whole area was well-maintained and very clean. The host responded quickly to all questions and gave us a detailed tour of the place when we arrived. Great place for a wonderful Father's Day weekend!

Family Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home! The house was very nice, clean and extremely well stocked for your every need. The pool/Margarita bar was wonderful- very well maintained. So nice having a refrigerator so close by for food and drinks. The swing on the back porch was also very enjoyable in the mornings and evenings- so peaceful. And of course everyone loved the deer that visited all day. Last but not least- we loved being able to take our German Shepherds with us- made our getaway complete. Grandchildren friendly

This was a great property. Our three grandsons loved the game room while their parents and us hung out in the living room/kitchen area. Since the boys' bedroom was on that level, there was no need for them to come upstairs to the quiet adult bedroom level. Pool was great too and we didn't need to worry about any noise they made bothering neighbors. Kitchen was well appointed and all paper and cleaning products were provided. Judy quickly responded to our questions. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Labor Day Getaway

This was a spacious and private vacation rental with everything we needed to get a way from the busy day to day lives we live. Charles and Judy are thoughtful and amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Judy decorated the home from top to bottom and didn't miss a beat. It is warm and inviting and perfect for families to spend time together and retreat to their own bedrooms. Charles has extensive knowledge of the eateries in town, we tried a few, but the list was long, and did not disappoint. We will definitely come back to finish it off.

Charles has been in the property renovation business for over 50 years. The quality of design, craftmanship and attention to detail in this home is unsurpassed. We wanted this to be a place that encouraged groups to relax and get away from every day life in a location that is pastoral yet near urban amenities. With so many activities available in San Antonio and New Braunfels 15 minutes of driving takes you to the best these cities have to offer. Come see for yourself what a great property this is for your vacation/entertaining needs!

Nothing compares to the attention to detail in this home. Beautifully appointed and welcoming, it is situated on over an acre of land, beautiful views, pool side bar and great out door spaces.

30+ foot Private Pool. We own 1/2 the creek bed, the other 1/2 is part of a gigantic Green belt that connects into parks and hiking trails that go on for miles. Home is comfortable with AC and all the amenities. Restaurants with memorable taste treats are just minutes away. Fun-time Margarita bar attached to the pool. Separately cooled sunroom with gaming tables and lush green views that go on forever. Three separate patio-type gazebo areas. Close to the worlds most famous waterpark Schliterbahn, and one of Texas' most famous attractions, Six Flags . Plus we're less than 30 minutes away from The San Marcos Outlet Malls ( tied even with the upstate New York Malls for the largest). These property owners are attentive and wanting your stay to be a positive experience.
