Perfect stay with family!

Had the grandparents, kids, and adult kids for long weekend. Everything was perfect! So many activities, you never have to leave. Highly recommend!

This property was beautiful. The views were immaculate. The owners communicated with me in a timely manner. The house was comfortable and clean. The kids loved the pickle ball court, basketball, pool table and the foose ball table. The sand and water was enjoyed by all. Overall, we were very happy with our week long stay.

Better than Advertised

We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary by bringing all the kids and grandkids to the house. We had a wonderful time! 18 people in all, there was plenty of room to sleep and relax. The beach view was AMAZING! The house actually seemed larger than the pics! The house was clean, well kept, and well stocked. This beautiful location did not disappoint!

Excellent Family Trip

We had a great time at this place! Excellent way to get the family together- plenty of space to spread out and explore. Lots of activities between the lawn games and the beach and the lower level rec area. It was so nice to take the kids down to the beach and then be able to do meals as a family with plenty of space to cook & eat together. We had 8 adults and 2 kids in our group. Also plenty of space to go read under a tree or sit and chat with people in the multiple seating areas outdoors. Also, the bathrooms/showers were in great shape and had excellent pressure :)

Five stars!

Amazing views, huge yard! My family and I had a wonderful long weekend on Lake Huron! We’re already talking about coming back next year. The house was well-stocked for cooking and dining and there were plenty of areas to sit outside, a grill, and also a couple firepit areas. The kayaks were as described and we had a lovely time paddling around the lake. We loved being able to walk down to the beach and to have so much space for kids to run around. It also provided an excellent background for family photos, which we had taken by a nearby photographer. Also, after we left, the owners were so kind and helpful to quickly return some items that we’d accidentally left behind, for which we were so so appreciative!

Views and Privacy!

The views from this home being on top of the bluff were nothing short of amazing. The house is completely secluded from the neighbors on both sides. The house was very clean although could use a little TLC but nothing that made the stay uncomfortable and could be just my opinion. The showers in the basement and on the main level are TINY but the one upstairs is decent size. The only thing I wish this home had was a king size bed, other than that it was great. 2 full size refrigerators, 2 washers and 2 dryers for large groups and the AC was cold and let the house very comfortable. Betsy and Jim were very quick to respond to emails as well with any questions, they also provide their cell numbers if you need an answer immediately. We would rent again for sure.

Family Reunion

Great Lake house on Lake Huron that housed our family for a annual reunion. The kids loved the lake and beach. The beds were very comfortable too :). The owners are thoughtful in the set up of the house for renters. We had everything we needed! Thank you for sharing your home!

Great space!

Had our annual family game weekend with our adult children and grandkids … plenty of space for all to enjoy without feeling cramped. It’s hard to find a home that accommodates a large group. Pictures and description were accurate. Home was more spacious than we thought it would be. Would definitely stay here again!!

Sprawling Waterfront Retreat

We stayed with a group of friends for a weekend enjoying the local golf courses. The house was spacious and clean, just like the pictures. The owners were terrific in communication before and after our trip. There's plenty of space on the property to spread out and enjoy the water, beach, and grass areas. We did BBQs and lawn games during the day and then bonfires at the beach at night. We will definitely be back!

Great beach location, Spacious Home

We had three families staying here, 6 adults, 5 children. Overall we had a wonderful time! Pros: The layout is great, allowed children to be upstairs sleeping while adults relaxed in the evening. The beach was beautiful, private and spacious. The homeowners were very communicative and accommodating of anything we needed. The house was fully equipped with anything your average home would have and you would need. Cons: The home could use some updating and repairs (handles falling off of cabinets, sinking ceiling tiles, rickety steps down to the beach). The bathrooms were large and spacious but the showers themselves were very small (think trailer). The homeowners warned us that there would be a lot of bugs (cobwebs) and possibly bees, but nonetheless we were still pretty putoff by both.

Great location/ Amazing fun

This house was perfect for our family/friend get away! The kayaks and "lily pad" were amazing fun for us all! While the house is big, it definitely has a "cozy" feeling.

Our family and friends really enjoyed staying here we would definitely come back. The property is amazing! My favorite part was having coffee down at the beach watching the sunrise. I found some beautiful beach glass and 2 petoskey stones!

Great Place To Stay

The cottage is spacious, well furnished, clean and well maintained. The kitchen has all the fixtures/implements one could ask for and then some. Peaceful location. Large well-cared-for grounds. Highly recommendable. Also, good charter fishing is available at Days On The Lake in Grindstone City.

The house was amazing plenty of space and we were hoping for a secluded area and this was it all the reviews say they spoke with the neighbors but I didn’t see anybody there the whole time it was great fantastic place thank you very much
