Great resting place

We basically only slept and did some small group dinners but it was great for that. Host was great as well; easy to work with for sure!

Lovely cabin.

The cabin was well stocked and perfect for our trip with two families with several kids. Beds were comfortable and the fire pit was a hit. Several friendly dogs came by throughout the weekend.

Hi Lindsay, thank you for your kind words. I am so glad you, your friends and kids found the cabin comfortable, and enjoyed the firepit. Yes, there are some friendly dogs that run around the cabins in the area, there is a "no leash" policy in the mountain, but, for sure they are friendly and they love kids! and they want to play with them. Nothing to worry about them. As you could see, toys for kids are available, and the 8' pool table is a great entertainment during those cold nights for the adults. Fantastic Fall family trip

The cabin was spaciously perfect for the 3 families (11 people) that stayed there. So close to all the attractions. The kids loved roaming around the huge lot. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch and breakfast on the back porch. Would definitely book again!

Family Vacation

This place was amazing. The cabin was everything we had wanted and more. The rooms were unbelievable and everything was fully finished. Our host took exceptional good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a spacious, close to town, and a place you can feel at home, this is the place.

Amazing retreat!!

This trip started with great communication which was maintained during the stay of we had questions! Anel is an amazing host and it is obvious that guest comfort is important to her! This home is huge yet so cozy! The pool table is a great touch as well! The area is gorgeous and the views are simply stunning! Highly recommend this home away from home and look forward to many returns!

Beautiful Cabin

My family stayed in the cabin to come up for my sons graduation. The host left a wonderful welcome gift that we enjoyed. The cabin is very well stocked. It had everything we needed for our meals. The yard is huge for outdoor games. The fire pit was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We prepare a Thank You basket for our guests to show our appreciation, some treats from the adults, some sweets for the kiddos ;) You have 2 (fenced) acres of beautiful yard with amazing trees around. I usually, pick up broken branches and sticks for the fire pit at night, s'mores marshmallows are a must!!! It is a wonderful place for a large family, that they all can be together, cook inside or use the grill/smoker outside, run in the yard, play pool at night, or just relax and watch TV. We have the fastest internet service in the mountain!! It was a pleasure having you, you left the place in great condition, and that is very appreciated it. Come back again soon. Your friend, Anel.

Chistmas Family Trip

The house was accurate in the description with plenty of room for all 13 of us! We enjoyed our stay in Lookout Mountain. Our host was very gracious, answering all questions and offering area information. She checked on us more than once! Fantastic

We had a family wedding in the area so decided to rent a cabin for our children and grands. What an amazing time we had. Anel is a super host!! All the extras included were not expected but definitely appreciated. We loved the front porch and firepit and all our nights were spent outside. The large fenced in yard was great for our little ones to play in. Very comfortable cabin that suited our family perfectly

Family get together

We all had plenty of sleeping options and space for everyone. Everything was very clean with plenty of nice towels, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags. Kitchen had just about everything to cook with. The pool table is a plus. Loved the location of the fire pit. Great porch. You can’t go wrong with this location. Lots to do and not that far from the cabin. I would highly recommend and would even consider coming back in the future.

I have never been in the same place twice, (same country yes, but not same specific place), BUT if you consider it, it means the Cabin left a great impression on you, and that is all I aim for! Experience travelers like you, will expect all the above, and you are right, I don't hold on the quantity or quality of the towels, bedsheets, utensils, spices, pots, etc. The temperature is dropping with the season, and the firepit becomes such a great thing, it is relaxing, magic, and it is absolutely beautiful to sit around it with family and loved ones. Top of the mountain, but super close to everything you might need. I will keep my hopes up! and wait for you to come back! Clean with Extras - 3 Families

Our group was comprised of 3 families of (4) traveling for a softball tournament. The house was very clean, came with nice surprises like air mattresses, wine for the parents and extra blankets and towels. Plenty or room for our group plus more room for air mattresses if needed. The house is located up the mountain which makes for an interesting drive, but not awful. Host has excellent communication. 5/5 would recommend.

Amazing Cabin in the mountains to relax and enjoy.

From walking into this cabin we felt the warmth of the beautiful wooden walls and ceilings. This property had everything we needed for us and much more. Everything was super clean, beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds, the living room & porches(front & Back) overlooks the gorgeous trees in the backyard. The kitchen and all rooms fully furnished. We even found complementary coffee and other items. The complementary bottle of wine was a perfect touch to start our day! We enjoyed the lighting throughout the house, the trees, and the fire pit outside the house. He host was very cordial and attentive to ensuring we had everything. So many things to do around. We will definitely come back with more time.

Hi Ricardo, I am so glad you and your family enjoyed Angels Cabin. For experience as a Premier Host (for over 3 years now) I am aware of details any family might need. There is a space for everyone, and I enjoy when I see you felt comfortable, and at peace with the trees and the wonderful atmosphere that Lookout Mountain offers to its visitors. The wine is my token of appreciation to every guest, and I do take the time to select the wine, nothing better than enjoying the fire pit, and a glass of wine. For those who enjoy cooking for the family, I have stocked the kitchen with all the necessary pots, (slow cooker too), smoker-grill (by the firepit), small appliances, and plenty of spices, to make a master meal, if that is in your plans. Wonderful home with the kindest and most helpful owner

This was a perfect home for our long weekend. We arrived to find a beautiful gift basket (kids dove right in to it) and hand-written note. And it was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. We had everything we could ever need, including a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels. And the beds and pillows? SO comfortable!!! There is so much beautiful wood in this house and so many thoughtful touches. The owner is the most considerate owner we have come across when renting homes. She answered every question immediately and give us tips on great restaurants and things to enjoy in Chattanooga. I forgot how nice it can be to deal with such a responsive and kind owner versus a management company. Thank you for a great visit!

Dear Donna, thank you for your kind words. The cabin is special to me, because it is very peaceful, the area is just fantastic, and I have the best cleaning crew in The World!! We check the cabin right before each guest to ensure everything is spotless clean and fresh. Guest find all you need to cook for a large family, (pots, utensils, spices, aluminum paper, sugar, coffee, etc), or if you don't want to cook the town of St. Elmo is right at the bottom of the mountain, and there are plenty of restaurants there to chose from. I am glad you notice my efforts on the quality of the beds sheets, mattress and pillows. Resting is a must do in the cabin, and I am so glad you found it comfortable. Location location location

This is a charming cabin with flexible sleeping accommodations that worked well for our extended family that ranged in age from 9-80. The kitchen was well stocked and it was so nice to relax with a hot cup of tea after a day of sightseeing. The location really is just a short drive from all the cool things-Ruby Falls, Rock City, Inclined Railway, Tennessee Aquarium, etc. We even got some bonus snow and the kids loved playing out in the yard. I was a little nervous about the roads, but this location was very accessible!

Thank you Melissa for bringing your family to the cabin. I myself I love tea, and that is why guests find a great selection of tea bags to enjoy, specially during those cold nights. The cabin is indeed on the top of Lookout Mountain, about 1700 feet above sea level, that makes the area very special. Rock City is about 15 min, and for sure Ruby Falls is a must see. Great time at Lookout Mountain

Anel was the best hostess. She made sure that everything was good to go for when we got there. The cabin was very well furnished and was very spacious. Our kids loved playing outside and spending time around the fire pit. We loved our time there and will definitely come back.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

When you see the wood on the walls, ceiling and furniture, a sense of peace, relaxation and calm comes over you. I love the trees, the house is the catch, but the trees around the property are amazing. The house is located on the top of the Lookout Mountain on the GA side, and temperature is about -10F (less) than in the valley.
You will find everything you need. I don't hold on the toilet paper, (yes some host do), paper towels, shampoo, soap, coffee, tea, and others. You will find all the beds with 10 inches Memory Foam mattress, no polyester on my beds. You set up the air condition at the temperature you want, (and believe me, some people don't want you to put it to cold, or too hot). No old beds, all bedding is new and high quality for you.
The house is only two stories, there are stairs only going to the second floor, but the most essentials (one of the master bedrooms, kitchen, living room, laundry and entrance) are on the first floor. (No like those 3+ level homes, where you have to go up and down to get around. All is accessible and comfortable for you. )
You will love it!

The Cabin is located less than 15 min driving to Rock City and Starbucks!!, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Downtown, several trails, but the most important thing, is that the house provides with all the space, and comfort for your family vacations.
