Beautiful 5 bed/ 5 bath Lakefront Mountain Home in gated Rumbling Bald Resort!

Enjoy our private Lake Escape Cove, a lakefront mountain Home inside the gate at Rumbling Bald Resort on Beautiful Lake Lure! This beautifully decorated 5Bed/5Bath Home has two master suites
(one is up and one is on the lower level) all with comfortable King beds, 2 jetted tubs, a private shower, double sinks, and a private deck area overlooking the lake. There is also another King bedroom on the main level off the kitchen with a walk-in shower for those who cannot do steps or tubs. Bedroom 4 upstairs is our kid or teen room and has an attached bathroom, 2 bunk beds, 2 full-size beds, Xbox 360, Foos Ball table, and a new smart TV! On the lower level is the second master- suite and a queen bedroom that has an attached bath and a private outdoor that takes you outside onto a rock patio with a fire pit and seasonal hot tub. This area is a great space for yoga or to watch an outdoor movie too! The lower level Master-suite has a mini fridge with a coffee bar area and a private deck with a two person dry sauna, this deck also that faces the lake. Enjoy an evening soak in our 4 person hot tub while watching an outdoor movie by the fire pit or walk down to the lake to night fish and enjoy S’mores by the lake fire pit near the water! Dock your boat, fish, swim, and enjoy a picnic by the lake in a private cove area with a Sandy beach that includes 3 kayaks! You can grill your meals on our gas BBQ Grill or whip up a meal in our gourmet kitchen! No cooks in the house during your stay? No problem! Order take out or go enjoy two restaurants located inside the resort gate! This a wonderful place to spend with family,a group of friends, book club gatherings, yoga retreats, and church classes! The resort activities here are endless such as a fun kids summer day camp, concerts, outdoor movies, giant outdoor games, yoga, trivia, and bingo night that is also available to all guest at the activity center. Cool off at the Resorts outdoor pool with a lazy river and Mushroom play pad for young children as well as an adult pool that’s Olympic size! Rainy day? No problem! Enjoy the indoor pool and Hot Tub that also has steam and hot saunas. The Wellness Center is equipped with locker rooms and the Spa is also located there so book a massage or make your hair and nail appointments at the wellness spa center! Around that area, you will see a ton of activities like Mini Golf, Tennis, Pickle Ball and Basketball courts! At sunset head over the bridge to the beach area for, s’mores on the beach, pontoon rentals, dinner cruises. Don't forget to brush up on your golf skills or learn about the game at RBR! For your furry family member there is a dog park and walking trails all around the resort. There is so much to do outside the Resort also like shopping in Hendersonville NC (30 mins away) or see the Biltmore House and winery in Asheville NC(45 minutes away) Don’t leave without checking out Chimney Rock State Park and Village! Lake levels: The plan for the next Lake Drawdown is 1/1/24 - 3/31/24.

The Lake will be drawn down by 12 feet. The purpose of the Lake drawdown is to allow for the completion of priority infrastructure projects.
While the Lake will begin rising on March 31st, 2024, the rate of refilling the Lake is based on the weather and the amount of rain received

Our home has 4 Ring cameras at each door and one on the back middle deck facing the dock/lake. These cameras only record by motion detection and will record video as well as sound during movement but for a short time then they do not continuously record our guest. There are no security cameras inside our home.

We are located in the mountains so our driveway is paved but a little steep however it levels out flat at the bottom of driveway, then its just one step to get into our home. Being in the moutains and on a lake be advised that we do have bugs so please bring bug spray ,we have a bug zapper on two deck areas and we have exterminators come spray every 2 months as well as a mosquito fumigation treatments near our home, lake patio and patios near the house. We do occasionally have bears, and other wild animals around just like most wooded mountain areas so please do not leave food or trash outside patio/decks or inside of your cars as well as dog food. Bears will smell it and they can open unlocked car doors if any kind of food is left inside, its rare but it does happen around the resort area. So as not to attract them we ask that you keep trash in our laundry area or take your trash to the Resort dumpster area located at front gate.
