Hi Alysia, Thank you for your review—we’re glad to hear you enjoyed how clean and well-stocked the home was. We do want to clarify for future guests that the AC unit is very simple and fully controlled directly on the unit. It just needs to be set to “cool” mode to adjust the temperature—if it’s on “fan,” the temperature won’t change. There are no WiFi or app controls, and we do not have any ability to control it remotely. We wish you had reached out during your stay, as this is a quick and easy fix and we’re always happy to help in the moment to make sure guests are comfortable.

Paul, I’m disheartened to see your review because we thoroughly discussed this during your stay. There was a mishap where you were sent the wrong room number by accident through the messages. However, the Vrbo platform did send you the correct room number in advance. No one else had your lock code, as stated during your stay, the assumption you posted is incorrect. You were given the admin code due to an issue with our lock remote settings but we wanted to make sure you could still get in. You were the only person given this code and all codes have since been changed every single stay. Codes are all uniquely generated for every single guest. Guest safety is our upmost priority and this is the first and only instance we have sent the incorrect room number. The issue was one character, 0, was mistyped as a 1, which happened to be another room. We quickly resolved the issue once you let me know you were at the wrong room. The building, as stated in the listing, is over 100 years old. We try our best to keep it updated to modern standards, but certain items can be challenging to add modern amenities to a building with historic charm and character. We will work on the items you mentioned and appreciate you bringing to our attention.

I apologize about the issues during your stay, Ken. We do ask everyone to strictly adhere to our parking instructions so there are no issues with neighbors, as we are located in a residential neighborhood with neighboring driveways. We have repaired the door and it’s now working properly - it got jammed just prior to your visit so I apologize for the inconvenience. I appreciate your feedback on ways we can improve for future guests!

Thank you for your valuable feedback and we apologize you had some issues. We do pressure wash all the patios once a month at the end of every month. The hot tub is not included in our listing, it is more of a bonus if it is in working order. You did let me know about the grill in which we immediately replaced the propane. We were unaware it was empty. We will work on these issues and appreciate you letting us know.
