The Ranch Hand - Epic River + Mountain Views
Welcome to Tobacco River Ranch Glamping. This cabin is one of six units on our ranch on the Tobacco River in Eureka Montana. With more than 450 acres adjacent to State Forest, and nearly two miles of river running through our property, endless adventure awaits! Originally an old forest service logger's cabin, The Ranch Hand was refurbished it with lots of love, and this structure found it's retirement home at the Tobacco River Ranch perched high on the hillside with epic views of the Canadian Rockies and the Tobacco River.
Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Our rustic cabins are well furnished and comfortable. We provide everything you need for comfort, in a beautiful, private, quiet setting. There is no power in the cabin, solar lights provided.
Guests have access to a community kitchen, bathrooms and showers, as well as tubes and bikes. The Ranch Hand is a private cabin sleeping 2 - we can add a cot for an extra charge, or if your party is larger, we have a tent we can put next to it for an additional fee. (email us!) The Ranch Hand is one of 6 units at Tobacco River Ranch. Check out our other listings. We host weddings and family reunions too!
Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come for the recreation, Let us handle the set up, and stay to relax!
You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a comfy queen bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) ++There is rugged terrain on the property, and hills, and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. this unit is up a small hill (that's how you get the views!) ++ You can unload 100-200 feet from your cabin, but park in designated parking. ++Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper.
Please note our liability waiver: You understand that staying on our property is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, walking, hiking and staying in our units. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may arise from any activity while staying in our units. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur to either yourself or other guests on the property. If you are traveling with a pet, damage caused to the property or physical damage to other guests by said pet is your responsibility. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against The Tobacco River Ranch for accidents or claims arising from hiking or staying on this property. All Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Guests and Host.
**ALSO, Please Read:
~Guests must Check in before 7:00 pm on first night. ~Pets must be well behaved, and pre-approved (read pet rules!) and must be on leash if they chase wildlife. (Barkers, biters and chasers NOT welcome.) ~No extra guests allowed on property without prior permission. ~No fires except in designated areas - and that is subject to fire conditions (Smoky said so!) ~ALL hiking, swimming, etc is at your own risk. ~Quiet hours: 10 pm - 9 am! ~NO guns or weapons allowed. ~NO food storage or prep allowed in units (it attracts bears, rodents, etc!)
~We love dogs! BUT, ya'll need to be cool for this to work: You must pick up after it, not allow it to chase wildlife, not allow it on the bed, and sweep or clean up the cabin if there is shedding or dirt brought in. Damage caused to the property, stains on the bedding, or physical damage to other guests by said pet is your responsibility.

Über den Gastgeber
Zu Gast bei Nikki Eisinger
Hi! We are Karl, Nikki and twins Coco and Franka. We've travelled and/or lived all over the world, and are blessed to call this piece of heaven home.
Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
We do our best to be good stewards of the land ~ from river restoration, to regenerative farming, our aim is to share it with others, and leave it better for the next generation. Our ranch is a special place. Rails to Trails/part of the PNW Trail runs through the property, as does the Tobacco River. We recognize that these are the traditional lands of the Kootenai tribe, who fished this river, and grew a ceremonial tobacco here, giving the area (Tobacco Valley) and the river it's name.
Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig
If you find comfort in the sound of highway noise, crowds, or nightlights, our ranch might not be for you! =) We work hard to ensure a quiet and serene setting where you can watch wildlife, gaze at the milky way or see northern lights, and (hopefully) unplug from the hustle and bustle of our high tech world.
