This Old House - Lofty Suite

This space I dedicated to my grandmother, and as such I decorated it in a style she would have loved. It is an ideal location for so much, it`s within walking distance of some nightlife, stores, a movie theater and rec center.

NOTE: this is part of an up / down duplex and as such sound transfers. We have quiet hours and request guests show respect, but it is not perfect.

This Old House was built in 1897 and is a completely remodeled duplex with both spaces being available to rent. As with the Entertainment Suite, the spacious Lofty suite is in an ideal location, within walking distance of many Massillon treasures (see neighborhood details). It also offers treasures of its own, being tastefully decorated with a bit of old world charm.

Immediately upon entry you will climb a flight of steps to access the suite, which includes one bedroom with a Queen bed and a bunk bed (lower bed is Full sized and upper bed is Twin). Then you enter the living room to access the kitchen, bath and Washer / Dryer.

Guests have access to the upstairs apartment.

I currently reside in the area. I am available at any point and can respond fairly quickly, but I also know guests want space, so interaction is minimal.

This house is within walking distance of so many entertainment treasures and Massillon staples:

- The Rec Center (with a lazy river and kiddie play pool)
- St. Mary`s and St. Dymphna`s shrine
- Historic 4th Street
- Massillon Movie Theater (with reclining seats)
- MaMu (Massillon Museum)
- The Towpath Trail
- Many bars and restaurants
- Save-A-Lot & Dollar General

Some other popular attractions include:

- 10 minutes to Clay`s Park
- 20 minute drive to the Football Hall of Fame and McKinley Monument and Museum
- 30 minutes to Akron / Cuyahoga Valley Scenic RR and Park
- 1 hour to Cleveland, Rock n Roll hall of Fame, Science Center, Lake Erie Beaches
- 2 hours to Pittsburgh
- 2 hours to Columbus
- 30mins to 1 hour to Salt Fork / Mohican / etc.

There is only enough parking space for one car, so if you plan on bringing more, please let us know and we will let you know where to park.

The house is a 20 minute drive from CAK and 1 hour drive from CLE.

1/2 mile to the Massillon Transit Station for SARTA

**If the unit requires excess amounts of cleaning - it will be charged back to the guest. Excess means extra elbow grease to get the place spotless, not standard wear and tear. We include a cleaning checklist and checkout instructions in the suites so you know what is considered `standard`.
Smoking (Cigarettes, Vaping or Marijuana) is not permitted inside the house.
