Welcome to our home! This adorable little bungalow is centrally located just 6 mins to downtown and 10 mins to St. Augustine beach. Enjoy the oldest city in America, visit iconic St. George street, nights of lights, and experience delicious cuisine. The home is located on a corner lot & fully fenced for privacy and freedom for your furry friends. The backyard is lit with lights to enjoy the evening sunsets, a pergola with swing for two, & yard games. The perfect getaway for a short weekend trip or extended experience!

We stayed here for three nights during the tail end of Nights of Lights as a Christmas gift for my senior parents, and it was a great fit for our family. The house is cute and on the smaller side, but it worked comfortably for four adults and our dogs. The fenced backyard was fully secure, with no gaps and fencing all the way to the ground, so even small dogs were safe.The beds were very comfortable, the location was convenient, and overall the home felt like an excellent value. Jason was very responsive and accommodating with any questions or special requests, which we really appreciated. We’d happily stay here again, especially for the value, pet-friendliness, and location.

Great Stay!

Great Memorial Day getaway! Close to everything, cute upgraded house with fenced in yard for our dog and even had friendly neighbors! Jason was great to work with. Would love to stay again when we return to the area. Highly recommend!

Excellent vacation home

We really enjoyed our stay the house was wonderful and the backyard was perfect for our small dogs and to enjoy fireside conversations. The neighbors were friendly. When inside the house we couldn't hear any outside noise. It was close to the beach and all the locations we needed or waned to get to. Great place to rent!

Great stay close to downtown St. Augustine

House was even closer than expected to downtown. Super cute house with lovely small backyard with fire pit. We stayed with our little Yorkie. Neighbor had two doodles who made friends with our dog.. super convenient. Easily slept family of four ( though we were o my 2 plus dog). Well equipped for beach visits if you’re coming in summer.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable

Property is newly renovated and in new condition. Host was extremely responsive to the most minor concerns and even ordered us a cutting board from amazon when my wife mentioned it would be nice if the kitchen had one. Absolutely wonderful experience.

Very close to all attractions

Very short drive to the historic downtown, beaches, restaurants and St George street. Jason the host very responsive in any questions we asked. He even had chairs, umbrella and cooler we could use for the beach. 1st time using VRBO...if all host are like this will be my new go to. Jason thanks again for letting us us ypur beautiful little bungalow, we had an awesome vacation

Memorable Stay at Historical Haven

We had a wonderful two-month stay at this adorable cottage. It provided all the comfort and ease we could hope for. Our dog enjoyed running around in the huge backyard. It is truly a dog's paradise! The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Jason, the host, is a fabulous person, and he made our stay even more positive. He immediately addressed any request we had. We will always have warm memories of Historical Haven.

Perfect quiet getaway

I took my parents (65) away for a week to be in the warm sunshine. We wanted an area that had some things to do but overall was mostly quiet and relaxing. We found exactly that in this location. We were close enough to historic St. Augustine and the beach areas that the drive wasn’t a hassle, but far enough away that we didn’t need to deal with the noise or hustle and bustle of staying in the heart of downtown. This is not the area for people watching, if that’s your vibe. The street is quiet, with friendly neighbors who say hello, but no one is forcing themselves on you to make friends. There is plenty of people watching at any of the local restaurants though in historic St.Augustine. Lots of great restaurants, we didn’t have a bad meal anywhere we ate. Once you are downtown, there is a lot that is walkable so you don’t have to keep getting in the car and moving. The property itself was clean and fantastically furnished. We ate in a few nights and were able to cook with no issues or feeling like we were needing some utensil or cookware. Full size washer and dryer for laundry was awesome.The beds were comfy and my mother wanted to know where the couch came from, haha. Jason was super responsive any time I sent him a message. Completely happy with this choice and would absolutely stay again!

We found the location was close to the downtown historic area as well as restaurants and Publix. Very convenient! The house has great furnishings and was perfect for our family of 4 + 2 dogs 🐕 I loved that I didn’t have to leash the dogs every time they wanted outside!!! Fenced yard was the best
