This beautiful 3BR/ 2BA includes two spacious living / family room areas, a big dining table, two full bathrooms, and with plenty of space to spread out, our secluded home is perfect for summer or winter. Make dinner inside (in the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and plenty of room to cook!) or hop on the grill and enjoy the beautiful Michigan summers eating on the picnic table on the deck!
Nestled on a secluded, quiet street across from Rush Lake, the house offers access to enjoy two nearby lake-side parks where people and kids float in (shallow) water. We are also a few minutes from Rush Lake Hills Golf Club, Lakelands Trail Trailhead, and also a quick drive to downtown Pinckney, Whitmore Lake, Brighton, Howell, and Ann Arbor. Bring the family or visit for a quiet retreat, this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

Our driveway can fit 2 - 4 cars and we have free street parking for any extra space needed! While the house does have a garage, it's not available to guests.

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the garage access door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.
When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.
Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

This house is perfectly located for access to downtown Pinckney as well as Whitmore Lake, Howell, Brighton, and Ann Arbor. The house is also only a twenty-five-minute drive to Michigan Stadium so for those football games and other UM events, we're a hop, skip, and a jump away! We are also a 1-hour drive to downtown Detroit and roughly 45 mins to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)!

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
- NO fireworks allowed

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Ann Arbor/Whitmore Lake/Howell/Metro Detroit areas!
