Ideally located between Gloucester Road Tube Station (1 minute walk) and South Kensington(2 min.) A newly refurbished, very quiet flat of 76m2 with open views onto Stanhope Gardens Square. Its a pretty Grade II listed building and the flat covers the entire floor (no noisy neighbours ). The pictures are not taken with special wide lens and I feel they speak for themselves. The flat was properly refurbished and decorated to high standard for my own children. Location is absolutely TOP.

Flat was extremely neat and well taken care of. House Manager Bill met us and gave us a great overview of the flat and area. Two Tube stops close by. Restaurants and grocery within walking distance. Highly recommend this property.

Great stay

Wonderful location for our family of four. Everything needed was within walking distance, and right in the middle of two tube stations. Flat was equipped with everything that was needed for our 4 night stay. The property manager was very responsive. Would definitely return if we find ourselves back in London!

Perfect property!

Two couples, just returned from our first trip to London. Entire stay spent at this property with day trips out. The location is central to everything and could not be better! Two train stations located just a short walk away. Beautiful, quiet flat, located across from a park, very clean, check in was so easy, washer and dryer is a plus to make packing easier. All comforts of home included. There are many stairs to climb to access the flat, but we quickly learned that EVERYTHING in London contains stairs. This location and selection was a great way to immerse ourselves in a true London experience!

Really comfortable and great location

The property is great. Yes, there are three flights of stairs but that didn't worry us! It is great to be high up with lovely outlooks. The couches and beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. The host left a couple of washing tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher - would have been great to have a few more (needed to buy a pack of 25 tabs at Waitrose). The location is PERFECT! Highly recommend.

Great “Flat”

Overall our stay was great. We had a few hiccups upon check-in, but those were quickly remedied by the owner. The flat is great, spacious and enough room for a family of four, with two teenage daughters to spread out. I used quotation marks on the word flat in my title because of the stairs. This apartment has very tall ceilings… which make it great, but it’s on the 3rd floor and all the units below also have very tall ceilings. That means a lot of stairs to climb. After a long day of walking around London, the last thing we wanted to do is climb five flights of stairs. It was a lot. Honestly, other than the stairs…which I don’t want to understate - they are a definite pain (literally) - Other than that the only complaint I would have is tight closet spaces and nowhere to store your luggage. It would be nice to slide an empty suitcase under the bed and out of the way but the bed frames go to the floor. So our luggage just sat out in the living room the whole time. It’s London and this building is over 100 years old. This flat is actually quite spacious for the age of the building. As for location, you honestly can’t beat it. You’re right near all the museums and between two Tube stations that will literally get you anywhere in London. The Gloucester station is a short 5 min walk and the Distrct and Circle lines run through it - which take you most places you want to go without switching trains. You will not find a much better area to stay in London.

Wonderful stay in Kensington

Angelika's home was lovely, clean and well-appointed. The location is fantastic, close to the Glouster Road station and walking distance from the V&A, Harrods, and Hyde Park. We were met by Angelika's representative when we arrived who was always available should we have any questions or need anything. We would absolutely recommend this apartment. Thank you Angelika!

An absolute gem!

This was a very comfortable flat for our family to stay in. It's located in a lovely area with easy walking distance to the tube, grocery store and restaurants. We loved that it had a clothes washer and dryer! Bill met us at the flat when we checked in and instructed us on how to use everything that we would be using as well as establishing WhatsApp communication before he left, in case we had questions later. Communication with Angleika, the owner, was great through the entire booking process. I highly recommend this flat. There ARE a lot of stairs, as is accurately described in the listing.

with this being our very first VRBO experience, it sure was tough to beat. super responsive host who had a super helpful manager meet us upon arrival. place was super clean and in a great neighborhood close to the underground in either Gloucester Road or South Kensington. loved it, would absolutely stay there again!

Centrally located, beautiful space!

This was the perfect stay for our five nights in London! The flat was impeccably clean, exactly as pictured/described, and stocked with everything you’d need to cook in (although we took advantage of all the great restaurants nearby). There were also little extras to make our stay more comfortable (umbrellas, outlet adapters, hair dryer, and use of the washer). Centrally located with easy access to anywhere in London but very quiet in the flat itself. Communication with Angelika and Bill prior to check-in was easy, and Bill was there upon our arrival to greet us. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend to family and friends for anyone looking for a stay for up to four people.

This place is where you need to be! Accommodations are comfortable, and Bill was a great property manager. The location of this flat is perfect. Just a few steps to the underground train, and 2 Grocery stores around the corner. Not to mention, plenty of restaurants to choose from. Can’t beat it!

Perfect little flat!

We had four of us staying in the flat. It’s super cute and well kept. Nice spacious kitchen and living space for a visit to London. The dryer didn’t really function well which was kind of a bummer but I notified the keeper and im sure they’ll get that fixed.

Southwest Florida Family of Four had great stay

Lovely, modern apartment in beautiful neighborhood. We are a family of 4 with an 18 & 16 year old who had a great stay just after Christmas. Property manager met us there in the morning and was very helpful. Modern kitchen and bathrooms and comfortable beds. Lots of stairs up to the apartment. Great location; we walked everywhere. Highly recommend!!

The ABSOLUTE BEST!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about this property! The communication with the owner was excellent prior to booking and throughout; it was our first trip to London and I had A LOT of questions and she was so kind and responsive. Bill, the house manager met us at the flat the day of arrival and allowed us to check-in early. He gladly answered all our questions and was helpful when I had a questions about the washing machine during the stay. The flat is so inviting! It had everything we needed; electrical adapters, fans, a blow dryer, plenty of blankets and pillows, laundry detergent, everything!! The beds were SO comfortable and the black out shades made it so easy to sleep in! The location of the flat was PERFECTION! Grocery shopping within a 2 minute walk, two tube stations within 3 minutes, easy short walk to The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Hyde Park and Kensington palace. So many restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and small souvenir stores within two blocks. When we return to London there is no where else we would stay!! Thank you again for an amazing trip!

Perfect Location

This flat is located in South Kensington, in a residential area near shops and restaurants and within walking distance of many museums. It is two blocks from the Gloucester Road tube stop, which has three lines that will get you anywhere in London easily. We stayed here four nights in November. The flat has a large open kitchen/dining room/living room area looking out over the local private park, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a connected bathroom. The other bedroom has good storage. Furniture is in good shape and comfortable. The owner's local rep Bill was friendly and helpful. The only issue may be that the flat is on the 4th floor (US) or third floor (UK) and so is up three flights of stairs - a concern for anyone with issues climbing stairs. Highly recommended as a place to stay while visiting London.

Great property in an ideal location!

I've been to London (from Canada) about a dozen times, and this property helped this trip be our most memorable yet. Location: this has got to be the best feature of the flat, it is centrally located with short walking distances to some of the most connected tube stations, museum district, great food, and grocery stores. The neighbourhood had it all, but was also quiet and quaint enough we felt at home. The flat: a quintessentially Victorian historic building, it was well appointed and had enough space for our entire family. Although our trip was focused on site seeing, it was great to have a spacious living area, kitchen, and cozy beds to relax in after a long day walking about. There was nothing this place lacked and we felt immediately at home when we arrived. Logistics: great communication throughout the booking process, arrival / departure from the owner and their property manager. Very easy to work with and we felt comfortable we were in for a treat immediately after choosing this flat. Overall, would not hesitate to stay again!

We are small family with two children and a little dog. We have lived in London for 8 years and only recently moved to Vienna. We are not running a business out of this, but covering the considerable costs of maintaining a flat in the most expensive London district. I have bought and refurbished this flat for my own children and therefore it looks and feels like a real home and not some empty airbnb business flat. With its high ceilings and amazing free views it creates an atmosphere of space and calm which is rare in London. Location is absolutely TOP for touristic excursions.

Location is key in London - you do not want to waste too much time and money for complicated transport arrangements . South Kensington is one of the most upmarket and safest areas in London, meaning you can take the underground even late at night, and you will arrive home safely. You have all kinds of lovely cafes, bakeries , restaurants and supermarkets in the lovely neighbourhood - as well as two major tube stations with red double decker buses leaving from there in all london directions.
And of course all the Museums, Harrods, Kensington Palace , Royal Albert Hall, Kings Road and Hyde Park, ... .are all in very close walking distance.
