Not My Fault
Family Spring Brake visit. We arrived early asked James the property manager if we could check in early. Let him know we would like to drop off our luggage & groceries. James said he would contact me back & let me know. I never received a reply from James. My family & I arrived at the property after 4pm and could not get in to the room. I had to reach back to James several times to make contact and explain the issue. Again, James assured me he would contact me with information & update. After waiting nearly an hour of sitting in a hallway with our luggage, with no reply, I reached out to James again. I found out that the previous renter overstayed & the room was not ready. I explained to James that I have luggage, groceries that must be put up. I made it very clear that we do NOT need to physically occupy the room just need to place our luggage, groceries in the refrigerator. James then told me to knock loudly on the door & the cleaners will open. After 5pm, I was allowed to put up our stuff. My family and I were NOT allowed to stay in the room as the cleaning team was NOT complete. We returned after 6pm & ran into the cleaning team near the elevator. James never made contact with me to confirm our check in or apologize. Last day of our stay we had a vehicle brakedown and stranded till 3am. I asked James for a 2pm check out. It was denied and James reminded me know that the delays in check in were not his fault.
