Relaxing Waterfront cottage with boat launch and kayaks. Close to town.

We are sitting on 2 acres of property with 300 feet of waterfront at the mouth of the Tallaseehatchee Creek and the Coosa River. We offer a nice boat launch that can accommodate even larger boats.

This spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath house can sleep up to 6 with a fully equipped kitchen open dinning room with a six person dinning room table. In the laundry room you will find and a large capacity washer & dryer with some of the essentials provided. The living room provides a big screen smart tv where you can enjoy your favorite streaming services using free high speed internet, we also provide a few classic board games, card games, and a few books to read.

Outside you will find 2 covered decks overlooking the property with a beautiful water view. Enjoy a cookout on a charcoal BBQ grill. Then make your way down to the water via a gentle slope stair free, to a beautiful sitting area with a natural stone firepit. The boat ramp and it's two docks are just a few feet away from the house. In addition to all this you will also have access to kayaks that can be used to go exploring on the creek.

We will never ask you to do a long list of chores before you leave. All we ask you to do is kindly take out all of your trash before you leave. We are here to make sure you enjoy your vacation.

Myself and other family members often enjoy using our river house. Unfortunately we are highly allergic to pet dander therefor we can not allow dogs or cats on the property due to health reasons. Thank you for understanding.

So Peaceful

We will definitely be staying here again!! This property is so relaxing and peaceful. The attention to detail is wonderful. You can tell the owners take pride in this place. So cozy and homey. Probably one of my favorite vacation rentals to date.

Wedding Weekend

Everything was perfect! I only wish we could have stayed longer and really enjoyed the amenities. We chose this location because it was near a wedding venue we were attending, so we were limited on the time we actually relaxed at the house. We did make time for morning coffee on the banks of the creek and an evening fire. It was so relaxing!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful experience from the start. Communication with April was easy and she answered all the questions I had promptly. As soon as we arrived everything was perfect. Prefect Location

This rental was the perfect location for getting to Red Eagle and to Selwood Farm for my sons SCTP tournament. We loved being right on the water in our boat and the kids loved the kayaks. Owners were super sweet and had a little welcome basket on the kitchen counter. We would stay here again for sure.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay

Relaxing Home Away from Home

Our family stayed here while our kids were out of school on fall break. The place was immaculately clean when arrived and the hosts even left a little bucket of snacks to welcome us. They were very responsive when we had questions. This cottage was right on the water and had a wonderful fire pit that we enjoyed roasting s’mores at. We visited Majestic Caverns and the Blue Bell Creamery while we were here. We had a FANTASTIC stay and made some great family memories! Thank you for a great vacation rental experience!!

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

We had a wonderful time at this adorable cabin. The host was so friendly and even left my son some little goodies to help celebrate his birthday! The home was very clean and comfortable. Perfect stay!

We had the best time at this cute little house! It was extremely clean, the cutest little touches and everything we needed. Our family loved kayaking, playing in the water and playing corn hole. April was such a huge help and great communication. We will definitely stay here again when we visit this lake!
