The cabin is small, but perfectly fine for 2 people. The host was very nice. She responded to text messages promptly. The queen bed was comfortable. The couch is comfortable. There are extra lawn chairs in case you have guests. There chandler a table outside plus 2 beautiful rocking chairs on the decks.We would stay here again.

Beautiful, Quiet, Comfortable

Such a fun stay. We brought our kayak and canoe. The place had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. We loved the location. The owners are very responsive. It’s small, but perfect for just two of us. Went to hear live music at the Dock, fished and found a place to swim via our canoe. Thanks for a great stay.

Property was just as I expected. It’s in a quite private spot in the far back. There are neighbors but it’s still quiet. Nice view of the lake and within walking distance. When I come out again I’ll look to grab this spot again.

Great for 2

Second time staying here. Great place for 2 or for a small family. Host is awesome, easy check-in, great communication, and bed is very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again! Can see the water and marina from cozy porch too.

The property is good. However, there are some deficiencies in my opinion.1. Make sure check in and check out instructions are sent prior via email. The door code was sent prior and a phone number. I probably should have called the number instead of VRBO. So possibly bad on me. There are checks to do before leaving printed in the cabin but nothing about how to check out.2. The stairs leading up to the cabin are unlit unless you leave your car light on. However, when leaving at night, they are a potential risk because you block the security camera light as does the swinging gate..Solar puck lights would be a good addition IMHO. 3. The same stairs have no form of deck adhesive like grip tape so when wet they are potentially slick. We had rain on a couple of days and while I did not slip, I took extra precaution when descending or ascending.4. The shower was nearly useless for me at 6'-5". It was jammed against the very top of the enclosure and I ended up having to duck to wash my head.5. The shower curtains put water directly onto the linoleum instead of the shower pan so a place mat should be put on the floor. They did have a towel that served that purpose.6. The hot water and cold water taps are reversed on the bathroom sink but do have the correct knobs just know left is cold and right is hot. Very minor pick.7. It would be nice to have an actual ice storage bin to accompany the 2 ice trays. I found a Tupperware dish that I used.

Small little cabin. Water view. Beautiful quiet lake. Bed slept fine. Window ACs could keep the space very chilled. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Could even put an air mattress in the loft for the kids if you wanted.

May 15 getaway

Found the property easily, no issue with getting the door unlocked. Cabin was fairly clean, a few cobwebs in the corners but otherwise nice. Lamp in the bedroom needed a new bulb and the overhead fluorescent light is slow to respond. Couch is in need of a good cleaning or replacing. We enjoyed our stay very much and would do it again.

Not what we expected and had no communication from owner

We arrived and easily accessed the home. Instantly we smelt a strong odor of musty and possible cigarette smoke. Upon looking around we found numerous dead flies in the bathroom floor (20-30) and several dead roaches. The home just felt 'dirty'. We immediately exited the home and locked it up. We were lucky enough to find another home to rent although it was only available through Saturday, so we had to cut our trip short. I emailed the host that evening explaining the situation and asked for consideration for a refund. I have not heard anything at this point. I plan on trying to reach out to VRBO and see what recourse I may have. My friend and I knew the place was not going to be pristine, but honestly we were not at all comfortable staying there.

So very sorry that you feel this way. I did send someone over the next day and they found no bugs and said it smelled like the gain plug in the kitchen. It would have been nice if you would have followed the rules and called right away as I could have someone come there to be able to see what you seen. Our place is very clean we have bug service and have never had anyone say such things. We pride ourselves on guest to have a great experience.
