Custom designed and professionally furnished with pieces I have collected from my travels around the globe.
High-end furnishings include antiques, memory foam mattress and fine linens. This room is equipped with its own temperature control as well as a Haiku fan and a 50" TV. Plantation shutters on the windows offer complete privacy or pretty views of the landscape.
Keurig Coffee Machine with pods, snacks, mini fridge and toaster oven for your use.
For your days on the beach, please feel free to use beach chairs, boogie boards, wagon and umbrella along with beach towels and outdoor hooks to hang your salt-kissed wares. There’s a cool outdoor rinse shower added for this season!
The large interior bathroom features slate tile with huge walk-in shower with a massive 20" rain shower head by Hansgrohe. Perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach!
The sink features a carved stone bowl from Indonesia which sits on top of a 4" live edge tree plank. The rug is hand batiked onto bamboo linen. I love design and home furnishings and hope you will enjoy my home!

Guest access
You will have full access to your private room via the exterior entrance. Please use the hose in the driveway or shower head to rinse off sandy toes, gear and suits. We encourage you to explore and lounge in the backyard. It's absolutely gorgeous in the afternoon and for some morning coffee. You might meet Sophie our sweet dog or our free-range friendly chickens.

The top decks are private spaces.
Other things to note
We have a very friendly dog named Sophie. We do not allow her in our Airbnb rooms. We also live in the main house so you may hear some noise from us or our other Airbnb guest as we have two total Airbnb guest suites.
You may also see our friendly free-range chickens roaming the gardens and our ducks swimming in the canal! All very friendly and relaxing to watch
