Cozy private Beach Haus only steps from the sand!

Amazing location, a 2 minute walk to the beach. The recently remodeled property has lots of comforts and luxury amenities. The private 2 bedroom, 1 bath beach bungalow features one off-street parking space, is climate controlled (central A/C, and ceiling fans in bedrooms), and has a beautifully remodeled professional kitchen.

Centrally located, you are only a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and nightlife on Newport Ave. and the rest of downtown Ocean Beach (OB). You are far enough away from the heart of the action to have a relaxing time. Truly the best of both worlds.

The two bedroom setup is perfect for two couples or a family. The larger bedroom has a king-size bed with a Casper Wave mattress, the smaller bedroom has a queen-sized bed (Zinus mattress). The larger bedroom has a TV (with Apple TV) and a Peloton® stationary bike in the larger bedroom available for your use (details below). A Graco Pack 'n Play® Portable Playard can also be made available upon request.

A fully-equipped kitchen is at your disposal, with a dishwasher, Wolf gas cooktop, full-sized oven, garbage disposal, Mr. Coffee coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. The living room comfortably seats 4-5 adults for movie nights on the 65" smart TV (details below). A strong WiFi connection is available for guests, and many games and puzzles are available for your entertainment.

Only steps from the sand, you'll be able to go back and forth to the beach all day if you like. You'll have access to beach towels, 4 folding beach chairs, and other necessities (cooler, a wagon, umbrella).

You won't need your car if you choose to stay in OB, but if you want to explore more of what the greater San Diego area has to offer during your visit, you are conveniently located to several neighborhoods and attractions. Just minutes from SeaWorld and Cabrillo National Monument (<10 min drive), San Diego Zoo/Balboa Park (10 min drive), Liberty Station, Old Town, Downtown San Diego, Seaport Village, and the airport (all 15 min away). Legoland and the Safari Park are a short 40-50 min drive away.

Please note there is no laundry on-site. There is a laundromat (Wonderland Coin Laundry) within walking distance nearby (0.2 mi).

Note: Please be aware that Ocean Beach and Pt. Loma neighborhoods (this property) are located in the flight path for the San Diego airport, and there is flight noise which is most noticeable in the mornings (starting 6:30am) and evenings (ending at 11:30pm). Guests who are not accustomed to this or who might be sensitive to sound may find it disruptive.

Peloton®: Bring your own shoes (delta clips) or use the toe cages available. The bike is equipped with a membership, you are welcome to use the guest account or to login with your own account if you have one.

TV and WiFi Details: A secure internet connection is available and login details will be provided at check-in. The larger bedroom has a TV connected to the WiFi with an AppleTV. The living room TV is a smart TV. A subscription for YouTube TV (for live TV viewing) is active and provided for both TVs, or you may login to your preferred streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now, Disney+, Peacock, etc.) with your own credentials while you are a guest.
