This authentical farm/house in Pondrôme originates from 1860 and has recently (2017) been renovated and updated into a charming vacation villa with room up to 8 people. Well-equipped kitchen, rustic living with sofas, television, a little library and a dining room. Le Kiewie has a large terrace (60 m2) on the south side with 3 kiwi trees, a barbecue and a sunroof. A lovely place for a vacation with no worries.
Pondrôme is a village in Wallonie, in a region called the Famenne (Ardennes). Pondrôme is situated 4 km east of Beauraing (place of pilgrimage), 8 km east of Givet (France), 10 km west of Han-sur-Lesse (Grottes de Han) and 17 km west of Rochefort. Dinant (25 km), Marche-en-Famenne (30 km), Namur (45 km), Reims (France, 85 km) and Luxembourg (95 km) are also within reach of Le Kiewie.

The wonderful landscapes, hills and woods have loads of entertainment and outdoor activities to offer such as hiking, biking, (fly)fishing, kayaking, bird-watching. The vacation home Le Kiewie is situated at a famous hiking trail, the GR577 that covers many beautiful tracks in the Ardennes all the way up to Durbuy. For foodies and gastronomes there are plenty nice restaurants in the area. Le Kiewie also has a membership for the tennis club in Han-s-Lesse. Guests can play (don’t forget to bring rackets).

GOOD TO KNOWS:
The vacation house is suitable for a maximum of 8-10 persons. There are 4 bedrooms plus facilities upstairs. Downstairs there are large livings, a kitchen, television, WiFi facilities, and a big terrace (60 m2) with sunroof and barbecue facilities. Furthermore a private garden (1000 m2) and private parking places.

Pondrome has a supermarket (Delhaize-Proxy, 100 yards of Le Kiewie) which has a good variety of foods, drinks and other necessities.
Public transport: there is a bus stop within 50 yards of Le Kiewie. Bus schedules towards Beauraing, Rochefort, Dinant. Nearest railway station is Beauraing (4 km).
Flexibility: we try to be as flexible as possible. Reservations are always directly via the owner. Reservations for weekends or midweeks are possible.

In favor of the peace and quietness in the village, this vacation house is not suitable for groups of partying students and bachelors.
