Trip of a lifetime

This property is outstanding. It was even more lovely than the photos portrayed! It is extremely spacious & beautifully decorated. We were a party of eight adults and never once felt cramped. The views are stunning from both balconies. The complex is very well maintained. The pool and pool area are spotless. The beach is clean and quiet. I cannot recommend this condo highly enough

Penthouse was gorgeous and exactly as described and pictures don’t do it justice. Total getaway from life’s stresses. A few small things that could have made our stay better: 1) better showers! Low pressure and not enough hot water for six grown adults. 2) being only English speaking hurt us, very poor communication with most of staff but we managed to get by. Everyone of the staff was amazing and friendly!

There were 11 of us and this place was perfect! The pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautiful, very well equipped for all your needs, amazingly clean and breathtaking views with beach and infinity pool just steps away. Scott was quick to respond and answered all of my questions. He also connects you with his property manager and she has all the connections and if she can’t answer your questions, she finds someone who will. She was an added bonus. I cannot say enough good things about this property, owner and his management team. If I could rate it over 5 stars I would. We would definitely stay here again if fortunate enough to visit the area again.

Beautiful Condo on a Private Beach

The condo is beautiful with high quality fixtures, beds, bathrooms, bathroom supplies, and spectacular views! The condo includes comfortable folding chairs to take down to the beach. The beach is practically empty most of the time, and nobody is trying to sell things or playing loud music. We loved our in home meal the chef prepared for us and our in home massages. Scott was wonderful with suggestions and communications. The pool got damaged a week before our arrival. Scott was terrific about working with us on alternatives to the condo pool. We were able to swim right off the beach a little less than half the time, but otherwise the surf was too rough. Day trips to Cabarete and Sosua beaches and to the pools at Santa Fe were easy and fun. We highly recommend Casa Tesoro!

We bought Casa Tesoro as a place for our family to gather, relax, and make memories. With grown kids and grandkids in the mix, having space for everyone — plus beach and pool access — has been a dream. Now, we love sharing that experience with other families and travelers looking for something a little more personal than a hotel.

When I’m not down in the Dominican, I’m probably working on projects back home or spending time outdoors. We take a lot of pride in keeping the place comfortable, clean, and well-stocked — the kind of space we’d want to walk into ourselves.

Why I Chose Casa Tesoro

I fell in love with this place the moment I saw it. The ocean views are unbelievable — the kind that stop you in your tracks — and being able to walk right out to the beach sealed the deal for me. It instantly felt like the kind of home you never want to leave.

What I really love is how spacious and relaxed it feels. With five bedrooms spread over two floors, there’s more than enough room for my family and friends to visit — and for everyone to have their own space. Whether we’re hanging out in the living room, cooking together, or just enjoying the breeze on the balcony, it never feels crowded.

My wife, our grown kids, and even the grandkids all love it here. It’s become a special gathering place for us — where everyone can unplug, unwind, and just enjoy being together. Some days it's beach time and poolside fun, other days it's home movie nights or exploring the area.

The pool and beach access give it that luxury resort feel, but it still feels private and homey. I also really value the security of the gated community — it gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m not here full-time.

Another big plus? It’s in such a convenient spot. Restaurants, shops, a water park, even hiking and water sports — everything’s close by. That makes it easy to host guests or just enjoy a spontaneous day out.

I also saw the potential for occasional rental income, which was a nice bonus — but honestly, I bought Casa Tesoro because it’s exactly the kind of place I always dreamed of owning. Laid-back, beautiful, and steps from the ocean. What more could you ask for?

What Makes Casa Tesoro Special

There’s something about this place that just feels right. From the second you walk in and see the ocean through the windows, everything slows down a bit — in the best way.

For me, it’s not just the views (which are incredible) or the fact that the beach is literally right outside the door. It’s how comfortable and relaxed everything feels. There’s space for everyone — my wife, our kids, and grandkids — without anyone feeling cramped. We’ve had some of our best family memories here, just hanging out, cooking meals, and watching the sunset from the balcony.

It’s quiet, it’s safe, and it doesn’t feel like a rental — it feels like a real home. The gated community gives us peace of mind, and having great restaurants, a water park, and little shops nearby makes it easy to do something spontaneous without a lot of planning.

What I love most is that it’s the kind of place that brings people together. Everyone has their own favorite spot — mine’s the balcony in the morning with a coffee — and somehow it always ends up being the kind of stay people talk about long after they leave.
