The property was in a good location. Parking was easy. It was clean and comfortable. There were no onerous house rules. Checkout was easy. This property worked very well for my needs and I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our visit to Gainesville and staying at this cute VRBO. We were missing some necessities, and the admin was very responsive to take care of them. The place was clean, comfortable, and we appreciated the kitchen being well-stocked. We did read a review before saying to bring an ext. cord for the bedroom bc the outlets weren’t close to the nightstands, and we’re glad we did that. We also appreciated the big TV and the pool being so close to the condo. Our kids enjoyed movie times and the pool. Definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful property and the host was extremely helpful, both before our arrival and during our time there. I stayed there with two colleagues during a conference at the university. The kitchen was perfect to have a lovely hot breakfast each morning and we were in easy walking distance from our work and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable and the surroundings are very quiet. We had a fabulous time and hope to rent again if work gets us back there.

Out of towner’s taken advantage of

Disappointing. Ammenities were poor I asked for extra towels and instead was give 5 very small thin, some looked like they were taken from an inexpensive hotel. The dust on the fans and under the furniture was not what I am used to. No kitchen towels or anything to dry your hands in the bathroom. Bedcing was minimalistic and no iron to be found. We were allowed to check in at 2pm and out at 12 but honestly it took 4 emails and with nobody staying before or after us I am used to much more accomodating owners especially when we paid 1600 for 2 nights in Gainesville. Location was not bad but no way walkable and Ubers are hard to come by. Welcome to College Living

A nice place to stay while attending a class at the hospital. Just bring a long charger cord for your phone as the outlets in the bedroom are a long way from the bed.

Good communication with owner. There was a need for basic needs advertised but not at apt so after a call to owner, an order was delivered to door. The apt. is older but nicely updated and decorated. Apt. is off a busier road near hospital so lots of emergency vehicle/helicopter noise. Apt. needs some TLC as floors are buckled and needed to move a rug on top of area. Minus the few issues, may rating is a solid 4.

Upon arrival the parking lot was full of stray cats which ppl were feeding in different place all around the walkway. The listing stated there were washer and dryers in the unit. This was incorrect

Some repairs needed

There was damaged wood flooring in the main hallway that was dangerous. There was a lose piece of metal on the front door that caught and slammed every time you went in and out. There were these tiny ant like bugs all over the kitchen. Once these issues are addressed the condo itself was as expected and a good location.

Cigarette smell but good customer service

The property appeared clean and nicely appointed. However, it has a very strong stale cigarette odor. The flooring is also broken in several places with pieces of flooring sticking up. We did not stay due to asthma issues but VRBO refunded us readily which we appreciated.

This is an older complex and is quiet while still close to all of Gainesville's big areas! UF campus is only a 5 minute drive and Shands hospital is within walking distance of the home. The complex has a pool that is shared amongst other tenants.

Please remember to place the parking pass in your car as they do enforce towing in the area.

Parking downtown is limited during special events such as Gator games, and weekends. There are ride sharing taxi options available in the area like Lyft and Uber. Gainesville also offers standing and sitting scooters for rent. Simply find one parked on the sidewalk, download the app, and scoot around town for fast, fun, and easy way to beat the traffic!
