Great place for a vacation on St. Thomas!

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return. The place was spacious for the 2 of us and the view was amazing! We were on the top floor of the building and appreciated the open & spacious balcony. Our contact with the owner / management company was all very timely and helpful for our stay.

Great memories in St Thomas

My family of 5 had a great time at St Thomas. Stacey was very helpful in all aspects of the trip. Pictures online don’t do the condo justice and the views from the balcony are breath taking. Thanks again and can’t wait to come again.

Nice retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at Estate Smith Bay and can't wait to return again. The views, the surroundings....were just amazing. Watching a small rain storm pass out over the water, from our balcony, was incredible. The amenities of the villa were spot on. We were able to prepare meals in the kitchen, to enjoy just staying in and enjoying our views. Having two baths available kept our family happy, and hot water recovery times were very minimal. We can't wait to return.

Better than advertised

Prepare for the most incredible moment….opening the front door….the view you see on that very 1st step will blow you mind. We’ve been home for 2 weeks and I swear I’m still smiling from ear to ear. We decided very last minute that we needed a holiday. In fact we booked our flights at midnight from Buffalo and landed in STT at noon the next day. The communication with the owner was next level. Upon arrival the fridge had a few snacks for the kids and a welcomed bottle of rum for the adults! The unit was bigger and better than the photos do justice. Our kids play competitive sports so we really can never book far in advance however if we knew we had next March break off I’d book this unit again right now!! Thank you for letting us spend a week in your amazing apartment. Truly hope to come back again!

Great location and view

This unit has a beautiful view. It is part of a resort where you have access to the pools. The parking here is challenging as there is not enough close to the unit. The hosts were wonderful with their communication, advice and recommendations. The unit needs basic maintenance and then it would be great. It is just worn (furniture that needs to be cleaned, ripped outdoor cushions, a rusted outdoor chair that needs to be be fixed before it ruins the tile on the balcony, frayed, worn and less than clean floor mats, closets and doors that need painting, less than great towels and a deep cleaning to get at the tile floor and grout). Furnishing it with a decent broom and mop would be great. I cleaned the floors when I got there. While I could have called about this and probably should have it was just easier for me to do it and get on with our vacation. I don't think it would take much to get it back and then it would be every penny of its nightly rate.

Hi Stephanie - I wish you had called about the floor as we would have sent someone over right away. Every couple of months, we have the inside furniture cleaned as it's a very busy rental and we have lots of children staying with us since it's set up for families.

Perfect vacation

Location was great. Pools were clean. Condo was spacious and nicely stocked with essentials. Wi-Fi was in and out. Great restaurants in Red Hook. Lindquist and Magens beaches were the best.

Fantastic Experience!

We absolutely loved this property. The pictures don't do it justice, the balcony view is incredible, and the breeze is very cooling. You can walk down to the road (this unit is the first building you come to from the entrance) but it is a very steep hill, so taking a taxi is easier. Lots of towels, including several beach towels. Plenty of pillows for the masters bed, we shared with our friend who slept on the queen bed in the living room. We didn't find the queen sheets until the last day, so check the dresser drawers (they weren't in the closet with the extra pillows, towels, and blankets). Great selection of cooking utensils and pans - we cooked breakfast every day. The coffee pot had everything you need (filters, coffee). Some basic seasonings provided too. Hair dryer available. The master bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water and the mini-split units kept the rooms nice and cool. We also ate at the Shoreline Bar/restaurant. Steep walk down and up, but great food. The pools were also very nice (all 3 of them!) Several beaches are walkable (Coki beach was very nice) but recommend taking a taxi to Sapphire Beach or Red Hook (taxis charge per person, but only $5-6/person to get to Red Hook). We did not feel like renting a car was worth the hassle, as driving is on the opposite side of the road, roads are steep and narrow, lots of traffic, and parking can be tricky. Our host gave great recommendations for our final day- our flight was late afternoon so we went to Emerald Beach by the airport and hung out. Our host also told us to leave early for the airport (allow 2-3 hours to check bags, go through customs, and security). Yes you read that right - even American citizens have to go through customs since USVI is duty free. I would recommend getting there 3 hours early - we got to the airport 2.5 hours before our flight, and if our flight hadn't been delayed, we would have missed it!! Crazy long lines. Overall, fantastic stay! Would definitely stay here again.

Heavenly time at Blue Heaven

Beautiful, breathtaking views as we entered, made us realize we were in for a memorable stay. Amazing Views!

Awesome view of the sunrise over St John! Plenty of space for 2, comfortable living, and was great to have a full kitchen. Location was a short taxi ride away from Red Hook for dining, shopping, and catching the ferry. The front door was a bit difficult to open and close but overall was a great place to stay!

Our Stay in St. Thomas

There were four of us who stayed in the condo and we all had the same feelings. No doubt the view was spectacular. The amenities however were lacking. The outdoor furniture was dated, uncomfortable and inadequate. A definite upgrade is required as this alone detracted enough from the view to have us all say we didn't want to return to this unit. Also, the kitchen provided no dinner forks, only salad forks. There was a definite need for more caserole dishes as people staying here definitely prepare most of their meals in. We also had to request service for the ceiling fan in the living area which was not working and had to be replaced. The chair on the small patio off the master bedroom was rusted beyond use. The sleeper couch required another service call as the frame was bent and would not close. We have stayed in other units three previous times before and they far exceeded the quality of this one. I recommend the owner get down there and make a good appraisal of this unit. The view cannot compensate for its shortcomings as outlined above.

Our outdoor furniture is exactly a year old and because we have no roof a top the balcony and it's open to the ocean, the furniture must be of a sturdy nature rather than an indoor/outdoor style. Our sliders go a front the entire living room area and one can sit in the indoor furniture, or easily pull these chairs outside if they feel the outside furniture is not comfortable enough. I will add photo's of the deck furniture for future guests to judge. There is no furniture on the small patio - this faces the entrance/driveway, not somewhere one would sit with the ocean in the other direction, so not sure about the rusty chair comment. I do apologize that the fan broke and happy to hear that it was quickly replaced, same goes for the quickly repaired sleeper couch. I would like to add that this is a very sturdy, comfortable sleeper couch. I will have more dinner forks (silverware) added this week - and a casserole dish!

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful week at this property. It was clean and spacious. We could walk to beaches and pools. The grounds are charming. Stacey, the owner was very helpful by telling us different things that we could do. We would love to go back! I have never seen such beautiful water!

Beautiful Condo

We loved our St.Thomas trip and this condo! The foru of us had such a great time, and were extremely happy with the accommodations. The condo is very very clean, spacious and open and decorated beautifully. It had everything we needed and is more beautiful than the pictures can show! Great location, quiet and the view from the deck is magnificent and relaxing overlooking the bright turquoise water. We had lots of fun at the bar there ("Fungi's"!) and the restaurant was delicious too. Close to everything, the beaches in St. Thomas are so beautiful - especially Megan's Bay and Sapphire. There was lots to do -- we even took a day trip on the ferry to St. John, loved Trunk Bay!! We had too much fun, and will definately be back to this condo next year!

The Perfect Place!

This is a wonderful condo with the most spectacular view you could ever imagine. You will never want to leave the balcony! Everything was clean and comfortable and the location is gorgeous. My husband and I stayed with our 2 adult boys and my daughter in law and we were more than comfortable. There are 2 restaurants nearby and people at the resort are extremely friendly. The owners of the condo are extremely wonderful people and were so helpful in planning our trip. I would return to this condo in a second! There is so much to do in St Thomas. I would highly recommend it as a vacation destination and this condo is a perfect place to stay!

Vacation to remember

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo. My husband myself and our two teenage kids stayed. The Condo is very spacious and the second bathroom comes in handy. The view is absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed our day trip to BVI, the baths in Virgin Gorda is beautiful. Our favorite beach was Magens Bay. Red Hook had great restaurants close by and the Agave Terrace was good too. and shopping is also fun. Loved everything thank you again. Hope to return sometime.

You will want to make this your permanent home!

Our thanks to the family who allowed us to enjoy their get-away home. From the moment my daughter, son-in-law, four year-old granddaughter and I walked through the door, we knew we were going to have a wonderful time. The gorgeous listing photos encouraged us to choose this property. We were not disappointed...lovely accomodations, island views to die for, convenient location...my family chose to use the middle pool (amazing view, quiet, private). Stacey, the owner, was very helpful in suggesting beaches, restaurants, and activites. Magens Bay Beach won our hearts the first full day there-lunch was delicious-we had a small soft-sided ice chest nice for bottled water-go early for best picnic table/shade. We had fun and yummy food at Fungis and can't say enough for the lobster, shrimp, and steak at Agave. My granddaughter loved the mango sorbet dessert that came with the children's meal. She also loved Coral World-petted a baby shark, fed a sting-ray, and was front row at the sea lion show-our favorite thing there. You need to take a trip to Trunk Bay on St. Johns. We all are in agreement that everything about this property was perfectly represented. We loved the spaciousness and the two-bath arrangement. Our breakfasts on the terrace are another great memory. At the end of a busy day, sitting outside watching the boats coming in made us aware of how fortunate we are...wish everyone in the world could be so blessed. This particular condo will be the one we will rent in the future for so many reasons. I would make this my permanent home if I could!

This is a fabulous condo ...

This is a fabulous condo in a perfect location on St. Thomas! My husband and 2 teenage children have stayed in this unit twice and intend on going back again this summer. It is always very clean and nicely decorated. But the best part is the breathtaking views from the private balcony. The staff at Point Pleasant couldn't be more accommodating! They actually remembered my children from the year before! I highly recommend going to both Fungi's and Agave while visiting. My family looks forward to staying in this condo again this summer - we can't wait to get back!

While vacationing in St. Thomas we fell in love with the area, not only because the island has so much to do and is so beautiful; you are also accessible to so many other nearby islands that you can explore.
It's everything you want it to be - it is quiet & romantic, but if you are looking to be social there is always some fun at Shoreline Bar & Grille. There are 3 pools and each has it's own feel; the top pool has a lot of privacy, the bottom pool is near the bar so there is more activity and the middle pool has the best views. If you don't want to leave the property, you don't need to, everything is there - you can eat in or have a first class meal at Mirador Restaurant. Taxi service is on site so you can go into town for fun too - just so many options!! But the best part is the views!!

We love our place because of the fantastic views & location in the resort. The main part of our villa has such a open & spacious feel to it, yet when you enter the the master bedroom with dressing room & separate bathroom, you can close the door and feel like you are in another place. We have two teenage children and we wanted to have a place where we could all be comfortable. You could very easily have 4 (or 5) people stay and be comfortable & have privacy.
