The villa features an open-concept layout designed for gathering and relaxing, along with a newly renovated fully equipped kitchen that blends island charm with modern comfort. Each bedroom is designed to provide a peaceful retreat, and the private terrace offers a wonderful place to enjoy the tropical surroundings. The wide entryway and single-level interior add convenience and comfort throughout the stay.

Mermaid’s Hideout is located in the upper section of the resort, with the Hilltop Pool just steps away. Guests can also enjoy easy access to the resort lobby, activities center, restaurants, nature trails, and all three resort pools, either by a short walk or by using the complimentary on-site shuttle service. Point Pleasant Resort is approximately 8 miles from the airport and about 2 miles from local restaurants and the St. John ferry. Rental cars are recommended for exploring the island, though taxis are often available near the lobby.

Please note that Point Pleasant Resort is a hillside property, and access to most units requires stairs. Mermaid’s Hideout offers a wide entryway with six broad exterior steps leading to the entrance and a single-level interior layout once inside. While island-wide power interruptions may occasionally occur, the resort is protected by a full-property backup generator system designed to keep guest units and essential resort services operating smoothly, including water, internet/Wi-Fi, restaurants, laundry facilities, and resort operations. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and smoking is prohibited in public areas and inside condominium units. We also recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” travel insurance for added peace of mind.
