Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Great place for families, business professionals and adventurers. Walking distance to Hawks Nest State Park, The New River Gorge National Park and just a few miles from Fayetteville. Centrally located in the area offering hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and many other outdoor activities. We have ~15 acres guests are welcome to explore. In the future, the property will be developed further into a campground as well.

Nice and clean

Place was perfect for a couple or small family. Very clean. Only complaints would be the hot water doesnt last long (it does come back fairly quick though). Also, hot tub room could use a couple of windows for a breeze. Host was perfect to work with and even accommodated me on some date changes well. Overall, excellent

This cabin is exactly as described. The space has everything you need, including extra blankets, pillows and towels. I took full advantage of being so close to Hawk's Nest State Park and New River Gorge National Park and got in ALL the hikes. In Hawk's do the rail trail and overlook, and the National Park's Endless Wall Trail, Sandstone Falls and Castle Rock will take your breath away. It was nice to come home an warm my bones beside a camp fire. Theres a decent stack of dry wood in the back. The hot tub was such a treat for my tired muscles. It was very clean and I liked that it was fully enclosed. The bed was so comfy that I sometimes woke thinking I was in my own bed at home. The only tricky thing was the shower, being a tall person, its a bit short. The hot water tank is small, so get your soaks in the hot tub then use the shower for a quick soap & rinse. Make sure to check out the Freefolk Brewery just a few miles up the road. They have the best pizza and the cutest little plant store next door, The Garden Sheddy.Host is so sweet and on point with communication. Would definitely visit again.

Winter wonderland

Very cozy little cabin right on Rt 60 Nice hot tub nice location. Everythingā€™s great. Tiny hot water tank and it got a little cold at night but had plenty of blankets and all was wonderful Def coming back

Thank you so much for hosting us. We loved the location and the place itself was so cute and clean. We did a lot of hiking and exploring during the day and this was the perfect place to come back unwind and relax in.

Lives up to the reviews

We were there for a Gauley Season rafting trip and enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect (under 6 miles to Adventures On The Gorge). Like most of the other reviews, the shower head is very low but manageable. There were a couple of small issues that were resolved quickly and efficiently. Hot tub was wonderful and appreciated after being on the river all day. The bed was super comfy and we would definitely stay here on our next adventure!

Has space heaters on the inside with mini split ac/heater system . The heat wasnā€™t too bad in the back bedroom but the living room and kitchen was cold because they had a space heater for that area ani it kept kicking the circuit breaker so the living room and kitchen are stayed cold because we had to leave the heater off the space heater in the bedroom stayed on

Overnight mom & daughter trip

Iā€™ll start by listing the pros:Property manager was extremely kind and responsive. Allowed us to change our overnight date hassle free the week of the trip due to weather. Responses were very quick which was also appreciated. The hot tub was very clean, as was the tiny home.The property was in a safe area with no safety concerns, which was nice since it was just myself and my daughter on a girlsā€™ overnight. The cons: The tiny home sits next to the main road which is not advertised and the sound of the traffic kept us awake the majority of the night (to be fair, we live in the woods and arenā€™t used to thatā€” this may not bother some but we thought this was in a more wooded area). The shower is built for a tiny person or child. My daughter and I are both 5ā€™7 and the shower head only came to right below our shoulders. The home also only holds about 5 minutes worth of hot water, which we did not know until after checkin. (We both have long hairā€” that coupled with the build of the shower made it literally impossible to wash our hair.)

It was a nice cozy cabin with a hot tub next door. Very clean and spacious surroundings with a nice outdoor area with a fire pit and wood there for us to use. Was close to many beautiful places to visit and close to where we went whitewater rafting.

Was perfect for the price and exactly what we wanted!! The area around had a lot of access to the river and hiking trails. The cabin itself was in great condition, AC was great, WiFi was a little bit iffy but who cares when youā€™re in the middle of the woods.
