Gut: Sauberkeit, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
First time in Burbank
While I did not have a bad stay at this property, it was different from other VRBO experiences I have had and I wouldn't describe it as great, just adequate. This felt "strictly business" in interactions with the COMPANY that manages this property. I have enjoyed the personal interactions with other places I have stayed, and felt more like I was a guest. Otherwise I could just stay at a hotel and feel more welcome. Cons of this site: 1) smaller than I expected. That is fine as it was all I really needed, but I wouldn't rent this space for more than a couple sleeping in the same bed. 2) it had the bare minimum, and even then no bathmat to protect the bathroom floor (and no extra towels to use as a bathmat), no extra pillows/blankets/towels etc. I was there for five days, and would have appreciated a clean towel at some point. The entire place just felt like they spent as little as possible to make it work. 3) Parking - there was street parking only. The listing was clear about this, but it was unnerving to have to park my rental car two blocks away a couple of evenings. So just be aware this is the situation. Parking is hard to find on weekend nights. 4) It is an apartment and the neighbor that shares the wall has the TV on 24/7. 5) While the inside was clean the outside was dirty, unkept, with dirt and spiderwebs on the door, untended flowerbeds. It was not welcoming at all. When I first walked up I thought I might be in the wrong place. 6) Bad renovation job. The floor is squishy in some places where you can tell they just covered up issues, and this permeated through out the place. Pros: 1) Nice neighborhood, I felt safe as it was my first time in Burbank. the location was very accessible. 2) The place was clean. 3) It did have dishes and a cookware set, and I was able to cook a simple dinner a couple of nights for my daughter who was moving into her dorm at Woodbury. Overall, if you are on vacation and looking for a vacation feel, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a clean place to stay with little hassle, this place will work fine for an individual or couple who are in town for a few days. I wouldn't recommend for a family - you could make it work, but you would have zero privacy.
