Newly remodeled 2 bedroom ground floor with sliders to the patio with gas grill. Unit has vaulted ceilings in the living room and master bedroom. View of the light house from the bedroom. 1.5 block to the Pacific ocean, 3 blocks to the light house, 4 blocks to the Jetty and Front Street park with surrounds the bay. The bike path goes past the property down to the light house and then is off street for several miles surrounding the bay.

Great property

We have enjoyed renting this home two years in a row and hope to come back next year it’s clean. It’s close to the beach. Chuck is quick to answer any questions and problems. Highly recommend.

Convenient location

Close to Pebble Beach and Seaquake Restaurant. The problem we had was the big windows in the upper wall in the master bedroom had no coverings. The streetlight shone in and we had to switch to the smaller room to sleep.

Nice Stay!

The property owner is great to work with! Very kind and knowledgeable. Easy check-in. Property is very clean. The one drawback is the parking in the driveway. A big bus shares the driveway. It blocks the sidewalk that leads to the front door. Getting luggage isn't easily done.

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Crescent City! It was spotless with comfortable furnishings and beds. A quick walk through the residential neighborhood to the beach. Gorgeous sunset. Grocery shopping just a few blocks away, easy access to 101 to see the redwoods. Owner provided info about the area and we greatly appreciated the suggestion to go to Stout Grove. If you are there to see the redwoods, this is a must see. Access a bit tricky on a narrow dirt road, just take your time though, it's worth it. I would rate this Grove the best and we went all the way down the coast stopping at redwoods. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Excellent stay!

The property was exactly as described. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was amazing — we walked to the lighthouse and explored the tide pools. So many starfish! We also explored the redwoods nearby. Overall a fantastic experience!

Great location!

The house had everything our family of 4 needed, very roomy and a short walk to the ocean! Views of the lighthouse from the master bedroom. Chuck left a list of nearby things to do, we took advantage and tried quite a few! Our favorites were Stout Grove and the Chart room. Thanks Chuck!

Great Place Near the Beach

This property is 2 blocks from the beach. Crescent City is cold most of the year, but dress warm and you can enjoy walking along the beach. The lighthouse is a short walk along with a fabulous Brewery and restaurant, Sea Quake. We spent our time site-seeing in Southern Oregon and Eureka. We didn't use the kitchen, except the refrigerator which worked great! The girls loved the shower! Our host, Chuck, was great he met us and showed us around.

Large convenient place to see redwood groves, very helpful host.

Chuck gave me very good recommendations for places to go and things to do given why I came (to see highlights of the redwood forest). I went there to see the Grove of the Titans, but he suggested the nearby Stout Grove (a rare virgin redwood grove). And also to visit nearby Brookings Oregon, which I enjoyed for the good restaurant and cheap gas.

My family had one of our most memorable trips staying at this location. The location was great, quiet, and felt very private. Our stay left us looking forward to coming back again for some coastal getaways. Mixed Bag /Had to leave

Since I am being forced to give a review before I can see how Chuck reviewed my son , daughter in law , & infant here goes 
 Host has no idea how guests want privacy but he is new at the business so I’ll give him a pass. I did rentals for years 
Unless there is a problem let your guests check in , have the unit ready so you don’t have to enter or negotiate entering while folks are trying to enjoy their stay. Give an accurate account & description of your property. I do appreciate the partial refund as my family felt uncomfortable & requested me to find other lodging.

Wonderful home and host! Great location!

Property is just as described and pictured, beds were very comfortable, everything was clean. The master bedroom is on one end and the living room and kitchen on the other end with a short hall in between. The second bedroom and bathroom are off the hall near the master. The hosts live above the mid-section but you'd never know it; they are very quiet. In fact, we never met them, which was too bad, because they seemed so nice. The house is on a corner lot and our entrance was off of the north street, theirs, on the west side; it felt very private. Nice neighborhood, super-close access to beach with amazing views, easy check-in, very responsive host who gave great suggestions for local sites. We were already planning to see Stout Grove, Jedediah Smith State Park, and Trees of Mystery again, which never disappoint, but also saw a herd of elk on our way to Enderts Beach overlook to see the sunset from another vantage point, and Battery Point Lighthouse was a lovely spot too. We came to show my niece the Redwoods, but Crescent City's beautiful coastline was an awesome bonus. After a busy day of seeing the sites, this comfortable home was a welcome place for the four of us (husband, daughter, niece, and me) to spend a quiet evening (after viewing the gorgeous sunset, of course).

Location was great with a short walk to beach just as described.

Chuck was very accomadating and gave us lots of suggestions. SeaQuake was a fun spot for a local beer. Jedidiah Smith/Stout Grove a great spot to see the Redwoods. And the lighthouse was a fun spot to stop by. Overall a great stay!

House hopping

The host was very informative and gave great ideas for things to do. The house was open a had nice natural lighting. We enjoyed the comfy couch to cuddle up and watch TV! The shower head was by far the best part though in all the houses we've stayed in (and we do it alot) it had by far the best pressure and made washing your hair a breeze! The neighborhood was nice and quiet and close to everything we'd definitely stay here again!
