The Descanso House-NEW BUILD!

The Descanso House is your desert oasis to unwind. Located in the serene city of Desert Hot Springs, this newly built home was designed with your getaway in mind. Start your morning indoors at the coffee bar, and then head outside to soak up the sun. We’re nestled near Palm Springs, Joshua Tree National Park and Indio. Whether you’re looking for a family vacation, or a place to stay during Coachella, we invite you here to rest.

The space
Relax outdoors after a dip in the (seasonally heated April-Oct) saltwater pool/ year round heated spa, and soak in the view of the San Jacinto Mountains while you sip on a cocktail. Turn up the heat with our natural gas fire pit, and enjoy alfresco dining on the patio. Play board games together, or watch a movie instead. We’ve made sure The Descanso House is filled with everything you need for the perfect weekend escape.

Bedroom 1 (located in the back of the home, close to pool):
-King bed
-Keurig machine
-55" smart TV with Roku/Sling; all streaming services available to input your own info, please log out upon departure.
-Comfy chair for reading
-Desk with outlets to work from home
-En suite bathroom with shower and double sinks
-Direct access to pool from primary bedroom
-USB ports located on bedside lamps


Bedroom 2 (located in the middle of the home):
-Queen bed
-Dresser and closet with hangers (linens for pullout couch located in this closet)

Bedroom 3 (located toward front of house):
-King bed
-Tall dresser
-Bedside lamps
-Closet with Hangers

**families please note there is not a bathtub in this home; only two showers

Living Room:
-Large comfy couches
-Pull out Queen bed (located in large couch) with memory foam mattress
-75" smart TV with Roku/Sling; all streaming services available to input your own info, please log out upon
departure.
-Board games and books
-Coffee bar with everything you need for a perfect drink!

Dining Room:
-Large dining room table with seating for 8
-Bar Cart with a Cocktail set and Drink recipe book!
-Sliding door opens most of the way for indoor/outdoor living (please turn off AC during summer months when door is open)

Kitchen:
-A variety of spices are available for your use as well as cooking spray
-Fully stocked kitchen whether you would like to bake, cook, or make a cocktail
-Appliances such as rice cooker, crock pot, blender, air fryer and toaster

Outdoor space:
-Natural gas fire pit (please turn off when not in use/at the end of the evening) with polywood adirondack chairs
-Table for dining outside
-Large outdoor game area located on the South side of the home. Games include cornhole, ladder toss, "Yard-zee", etc.
-Natural gas BBQ for outdoor cooking; please turn off when not in use/at the end of the night, and clean after each use
-EV 240 plug available/accessible on right side of garage, use as needed free of charge with EV vehicle

POOL/SPA:
-Our saltwater pool is heated from June 1-October 31 to approximately 82 degrees for your enjoyment, at no extra cost!

-From Nov 1-March 31 due to low overnight temperatures, pool heating is not offered (unless prior arrangements have been made).
-April 1-May 31, you may request to heat the pool for $75 per day (not available check out day)

-Please use our spa at no extra cost (with reasonable use).

-Please note our pool man comes every TUESDAY AND FRIDAY. It can be at anytime during the day. He will let himself in through side gate and typically stays around 20 minutes.

- The spa is available year round for your use at no extra cost (with reasonable use).There is a button for the spa for your convenience. This will allow you to control when you put on the heat/jets. Please turn off before bed. Owner has the right to turn off at anytime if excessive use is noted.

-Spa cannot be used after 11:00PM
