Shore Thing is the right-side unit of the Twin Shores waterfront duplex on the Grand Canal — 2BR, 2BA, sleeps 8, pets welcome. Book it solo for a family or small group, or rent both sides together as Twin Shores for groups up to 14.

Feel the day melt away as you soak in the hot tub with canal views at dusk. Roast marshmallows at the fire pit while the kids build sandcastles. Sip your morning coffee on the covered patio with the gas fireplace going — even a rainy day feels like a gift.

Inside, soaring 22-foot ceilings and a gas fireplace anchor the great room. King primary suite has glass sliders to the hot tub deck with canal views. The Starfish Bunk Room sleeps 4: twin on top, full on the bottom, pull-out trundle twin. Sofa bed sleeps 2 more.

Dig for razor clams on the Pacific shore, crab off the canal, or walk the wild shoreline at Damon Point. Short stroll to Oyhut Bay for coffee, the Oyhut Grill, and a playground. The hot tub water was a bit "off", I believe it just needed the chemicals checked, but other then that we were quite happy there. There was plenty of blankets, towels, plenty of utensils to cook with. The coffee bar well supplied and a great surprise!Yes, this was a great, comfortable place to stay...someday we hope to go back!! Several deer walking and eating within feet of us. Saw an otter and, of course, the ocean had lots to offer. Driving around Damon point was beautiful, the Jetty, beautiful.

The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed during our short stay. It was a lovely place to start our 2 week coastal trip. The property is lovely and well taken care of. The host is very friendly and quick to respond to all communication. She also left a welcome packet with lots of helpful information, which we used to find things to do each day. I loved the decor and how calming the house was for all of us. It was the perfect place to get away from the city and enjoy a relaxing beach vacation with loved ones.

Beautiful place

What a beautiful place with nice finishes and great accommodations. The only thing that I would say if you are looking for a private getaway, this place is not private since you share the backyard with the other unit. We had young children playing in our part of the yard. This would absolutely be a great place for families and definitely recommend it for that. We had a great time at the home overall. Thank you

Cutely Decorated & Close to Damon Point

My husband and I come to Ocean Shores a couple times a year and we usually rent a house or condo when we come. This was a very cute and nicely done property. The back porch is awesome for sitting outside to relax by the canal. It’s within walking distance to Damon Point beach which is the best location to sit on the beach and relax with no vehicle traffic and to view lots of sea creatures along the jetty rocks. They were very thoughtful with the things they stocked the home with, to make your stay more enjoyable. We will definitely use this property again if it’s available on our next trip.

Great stay for two families

We greatly enjoyed our stay!! My family rented one side of the property while my sister and her family rented the other side, and the set up worked extremely well for our families (3 babies and 1 toddler all on different nap/play schedules). We opened the door between the units and we all shared the space throughout our visit. All amenities were thought about (beach totes, beach chairs, sand toys for the kids, etc) and made our stay so easy. Kelly was extremely responsive to any questions we had both prior to and during the stay. We loved the location only 5 minutes by car from the beach and within walking distance to Oyhut Bay resort. It was a great getaway and we would definitely stay here again!

First impression of the property was that it did not look like the pictures on VRBO. The outside lacks basic maintenance, lots of weeds, dead plants in pots. The outside dining table in front was dirty and rusty, appeared it has not been used or cleaned in a while. Cigarette butts on the front porch. Trashcan was overflowing from previous renters. Animals dumped it overnight and dragged garbage all over. (After reporting the problem, someone did pick the garbage up.) The back patio furniture was damp and musty despite the patio being covered. Due to a burn ban we were unable to enjoy the fire pit. We didn’t spend much time out back which was very disappointing. Accessing the canal to use a paddleboard was challenging,Once inside Unit B, we were generally pleased to see that it was more reflective of the pictures on VRBO. The unit was well stocked with amenities as listed on VRBO. It was convenient to have an infant highchair available. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook several family meals. Soft goods are showing some wear and tear, some stains on furniture cushions, rips and stains on curtains. Inside trim and baseboard damage by doors, probably from dogs. The trundle bed was broke and no sheets provided. The dining table needed a good scrub. Location is convenient to everything. We spent lots of time on the beach despite the weather. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but feel the property could use some love to justify the price.
