Hoch gelegenes Strandhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern in einer ruhigen Sackgasse in der Wohnanlage Wild Dunes mit Zugang zu kilometerlangen Strand- und Radwegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Atlantik ist dies ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu erholen und zu entspannen. Ca. 3 Häuserblocks von einem Strandzugangsweg entfernt, an dem Sie kilometerlange, preisgekrönte weiße Sandstrände genießen können. Dieses Privathaus verfügt über einen Aufzug, mit dem Sie Ihr Gepäck und Ihre Lebensmittel bequem transportieren können. Bettwäsche und WiFi inklusive. Nicht rauchen, keine Haustiere. Kamin nicht für die Gäste zur Verfügung. Das Heim befindet sich in der geschlossenen Gemeinschaft der Wilddünen. Wohnmobile, Anhänger, Boote und Motorräder sind nicht gestattet.

Great location close to waterfront

We spent long weekend at that house and we feel home. This property has all you need to cook (dinner, breakfast or other meal), own laundry room, 3 bedrooms are stuff with pillows and blankets. Master bedroom maybe need some refresh project ( carpet, new bed and mattress). The same can be said about master bathroom. Living and dining room are spacious for large accommodation, we originally were supposed to use all room and due to sickness of friend end up staying only in primary bedroom. This is located about 3 minutes from waterfront, facility has a pool.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, you can walk to the hub of the island where the shops and restaurants are. Very quiet cul de sac. Property management was fantastic-they were excellent to communicate with--when we arrived the master bath was clogged. Maintenance responded right away with a text and arrived quickly to fix the problem. However, kitchen needs updating badly and so does the A/C. It was extremely hot weather while we were there and the A/C couldn't keep up. We didn't report it to the property management because we kept thinking it would cool down but it didn't-it never cooled down under 78 degrees. Other than that, the house was clean and nice--neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Good home overall and Wild Dunes is fantastic. Highly recommend this property management company.

House needs a serious deep clean

The house was livable. In other words, the floors, toilets, appliances were clean but the upholstery was filthy. Sofa looked as though someone had been walking all over it. Cobwebs were in almost all of the windows and the elevator smelled like feet. It was very bad. The exterior of the home needs to be pressure washed. I told the check our staff this upon leaving so, hopefully for the next guests, it will be cleaned. The proximity to the beach and the access to the pavilion are a major plus for the property. We enjoyed the front sunroom although not a single TV worked in the entire home and the WiFi password was incorrect. I had to contact maintenance for the new password.

Lovely sun porch area has no coffee table despite one depicted in,listing photos so no place to put your feet or your drink. Other narrow living area had a bizarre arrangement of an outdoor wooden bench and an oversized chair from the1980’s in original upholstered cream fabric that was so disgusting and stained no one would sit in it. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable so if you need a place for two or three people, this might be a lower cost option. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be room for more people to sit and watch tv.

The location made it easy for *all* of us to walk to the resort across the street and swim in and lounge by the pools with cocktails in hand, use the large hot tub, and play on the beautiful, wide beach. The just house just needs one more (sleeper) sofa in the main living area and some fresh carpet to be perfect. Wild Dunes and the IOP are the absolute best for family time and relaxation.

Reviewer Comments: The rental was relatively clean and a good size for our group. The A/C did not work properly and it took a very long time to cool off when we first arrived. The technician came out and said it was a problem with the location of the unit under the house. Also, a lot of unused space in the middle of the house and the furniture should be updated. There were a few spiders found in the house.

The house needs to be sprayed inside and out for spiders - lots of webs covering the outside eaves and windows, and we had a number of small spiders inside the house - a visit from pest control should take care of the problem.

Spider Issue and Dead Lizards Inside

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived to the property, we were greeted by animal feces by the front door on the porch, and underwear and a trash bag near the side of the the house. When we entered the property we noted a dead lizard by the air vent under the window that had clearly been there for a while. We did have to do some cleaning of our own and removed more than one dead lizard from the inside of the house during our stay. It was clear from the start the property had not had a thorough cleaning in a while.After the first night we noticed many house spiders in the bedroom. While we understand the occasional spider getting in the house, as it happens to everyone, we killed more than 15 spiders in the bedroom alone in a single sitting. That’s obviously an issue and further indicates that the property has not been properly maintained in regards to bug and pest management. Other issues we noted were an infestation of ants around the front door, completely clogged gutters causing a flood of water on the porch, and the status of the water filter on the fridge was red indicating it needed to be changed. Overall we would not recommend this property unless the above issues are resolved, as there are many other places in Wild Dunes to stay. We would love to return and rent a different property in the future

Island relaxation--Ahhh!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation was so very therapeutic--great location--4 minute walk to the beaches. Extremely quiet home and neighbors and great access to walking/running/biking trails. Easy drive to restaurants and other services. Awesome seafood for purchase at Simmons or Harris Teeter. Kayaking available for private rentals, but we did not avail at this time. (we have in the past.) Island Realty-easy check in and out. Highly recommend.
