Enjoy all-season fun when you stay in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath curated cottage. Relax in the 100-jet hot tub, warm up by our luxe Breeo fire pit, grill meals on our Weber BBQ grill, or stream your fave shows with high-speed WiFi and smart TV's. Plenty of games, air hockey, Ms. Pac Man and Golden Tee to keep everyone busy! Long term renters are welcome with prior approval from Host.

Stowe Country Cape is a private residential home fully-outfitted with amenities such as: AIR CONDITIONING, ultra-comfortable mattresses, 6-person 100-jet hot tub/spa, Breeo Luxeve fire pit with Adirondack chairs and table, outdoor dining set for up to 6 guests (with an additional bistro table set for 2), HIGH-SPEED internet/secure WiFi, smart home appliances, Samsung smart TV's with streaming apps and Sling/Roku, and a game room with air hockey table, arcade game, and board/card games. We've got you covered with super-soft cotton bedding, extra pillows & blankets, fluffy white towels, XL resort towels (apres hot tub), and fleece blankets for keeping warm outside on the deck.

**FOR FAMILIES WITH BABIES/CHILDREN: We are thrilled to offer baby and child gear through our partnership with Stowe Baby Rentals. Items such as cribs, bed rails, pack-n-plays, baby monitors, high chairs/booster seats, jumpers/exersaucers, swings, bouncy seats, carriers, strollers, baby gates, diaper pails, tubs, and toys are available to be rented throughout your stay! The cleaned, quality equipment is delivered and set up on the day of your arrival, and will be picked up upon your departure: no hassle or fighting for trunk space! Please send me a message prior to booking if you'd like more info and/or would like to make arrangements for the equipment rental.

KITCHEN: Our designer-inspired, open concept modern farmhouse kitchen with gleaming white subway tile walls includes: new stainless steel LG induction cooktop, range hood & oven, microwave, glass front refrigerator, and retro Smeg toaster; DeLonghi expresso/coffee maker; custom-built White Oak floating shelves stocked with glassware and mugs, plates & bowls, etc. White shaker-style cabinets house cooking and baking supplies, cutlery and silverware, induction-safe pots & pans, a Kitchenaid blender, electric griddle, pitchers, serving trays, and much more. We provide locally-sourced honey, coffee, and hot cocoa, and offer an assortment of teas and kitchen basics (spices, salt & pepper, sugar).

DINING AREA: Our artisan-crafted solid pine farmhouse table (seating up to eight guests) provides a perfect place to gather and enjoy your meals. You can also sneak a peek of what's playing on the big-screen in the living room!

LIVING ROOM: Scandi-style vibes flow throughout the home and into our cozy living room. Snuggle up on our buttery-soft caramel leather couch and get hygge in front of the fireplace while you watch your favorite shows or movies. White shiplap frames the large-screen Samsung smart TV, accented by a reclaimed wood mantle handpicked from an old barn in CT. Check out some fun reads found on our Carrara-marble coffee table (hint, hint: some of my farm friends from Newbury Farms are featured in "On the Farm" book). You'll also find Waitsfield, VT-based artist/photographer Philip Bobrow's framed wall art throughout the first floor (Mt. Mansfield, Percy Farm's dairy cows, Stowe Community Church, red barn). Need some blankets for lounging on the deck? There's a basket near the sliding barn doors with fleece Buffalo check blankets for indoor/outdoor use.

FIRST FLOOR BEDROOM/OFFICE: Work-from-home (or get some stuff done) while you're staying at Stowe Country Cape. We have a dedicated work space for you, complete with desk and lamp (and hidden USB charger port). Connect to our high-speed internet/secure WiFi and when it's time for a break, sneak out through the sliding patio doors and take a dip in the hot tub! You'll find our resort-sized towels for hot tub use in the large basket near the slider doors. Our stylish West Elm sofa bed offers a full-size pull-out mattress for extra sleeping space; just close the barn doors for extra privacy and pull-down the blackout shade to sleep easy!

FIRST FLOOR BATHROOM: Sleek and modern, with custom floating shelf, radiant-heated floors, and white subway tile makes this full bathroom (sliding glass shower/bathtub) fresh and bright. Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap are offered to our guests (we love their commitment to sustainability and toxin-free product lines, and know you will too)!

PRIMARY BEDROOM: We want you to rest easy (and comfortably) at Stowe Country Cape! That's why we selected a premier King-sized memory-foam mattress that provides enhanced cooling, comfort, and support to your entire body while you sleep. Slide into super-soft white cotton sheets and pile up the pillows for that good night's rest you deserve! Draw the blackout cellular shades for extra privacy and darkness to catch up on those zzz's. Need to decompress with a fun movie or show? Our Samsung smart TV streams all your favorite apps; just sign in with your account for Netflix/Hulu/Prime/Disney+ or enjoy our complimentary Roku/Sling subscription to watch live and pre-recorded shows. You'll have plenty of space to store your stuff on the open shelves and hanging rack in the room. There's a digital alarm clock in case you don't want to miss early morning events and a multi-device charging port on the antique pine nightstand for your electronics (phones, tablets, etc).

GUEST BEDROOM: Two single beds with premier mattresses are a great option for friends, kids, or family members! A hidden closet can be found behind the Samsung TV (hanging rack, open shelves, and extra pillows for guests). Our guest bedroom also has blackout cellular shades, a luggage rack and hamper.

SECOND FLOOR BATHROOM: Our second floor bathroom feels spa-like with its radiant-heated wood plank tiled floor, spacious glass shower with rain head system and handheld sprayer. Hair dryer and Public Goods hair and body products are provided complimentary for guest use. Fluffy white Turkish cotton towel sets will be provided for each guest booked.

GAME ROOM/BASEMENT: Keep everyone entertained in our game room! A full-size air hockey table provides endless fun and competition. A throwback to the 1980's, our Ms. Pac Man/Galaga arcade game will keep the kiddos and adults equally engaged; go for that high-score! A huge sectional sofa is a great place to kick back and relax while watching shows or movies, or gather around the coffee table to play board or card games (you can find an assortment of games/cards in baskets for adults and kids). Need to throw in some laundry while you stay with us? Feel free to use the LG washer & dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board.

STORAGE SHED (OUTSIDE):
Next to the driveway, our storage shed contains items for guest use such as: corn hole/beanbag toss, extra outdoor chairs, firewood/fire starter, a smoke/ash screen for the Breeo fire pit, fit pit tools (poker, tongs, gloves, lighter), rocker ski rack for ski and snowboard equipment storage, shovels and ice melt.

CAMERAS: At Stowe Country Cape LLC, we are committed to your safety and well being. As such, there are two exterior cameras (one motion-activated floodlight camera overlooking the driveway, and one doorbell camera next to the side entrance). Guests (and Visitors) are prohibited from covering, tampering with, or disabiling the security cameras in any way. If this occurs, the reservation will be canceled (no refunds) and Guests/Visitors will be asked to vacate the property.

The best way to get around Stowe is by vehicle (and preferably one with good tires that's 4WD or AWD) to safely navigate the rural and scenic roads, especially during winter. Visitors can rent vehicles from one of several companies at Burlington International Airport (BTV) in South Burlington, and Morrisville-Stowe State Airport (MVL) in Morrisville. Public transportation is provided in town via Green Mountain Transit (GMT). In winter and early spring, guests can take GMT's free Mountain Road Shuttle from Stowe Village to Stowe Mountain Resort. In the warmer months, bicycles are a great option for shorter distances. Stowe also has fantastic mountain biking trails, hiking trails, and walking paths. Peg's Pick-Up Stowe Taxi and Uber are also available for taxi services in/around Stowe.

Free private parking in driveway, up to 3 vehicles. Guests are encouraged to get outside and explore all that beautiful Stowe has to offer. In the winter, the driveway and walkway will be professionally plowed and shoveled (and sanded as needed). Our driveway has an incline, so drive only on the gravel and proceed with caution. Our neighborhood has privately maintained roadways, so be advised that weather can affect driving conditions (roads can get bumpy, slippery, or icy). As such, we recommend good tires and all-wheel or 4WD vehicles just to be safe!
