Palm Desert Resort is a gated, semi-private community with 24 hour security. The resort features an 18 hole golf course and pro shop, 9 tennis courts, 24 pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, and a clubhouse with restaurant/bar. There are 22 pools located in the complex which are open from 7 am to 10:30 pm. The Palm Desert Resort's challenging and redesigned 18 hole par 72 public golf course is pay as you play. Memberships available. Hone your skills at the resort's driving range, putting green, chipping area and practice bunker. All amenities are open to the public except the saltwater pools and spas, which are exclusively for homeowners and guests. If you choose not to cook, the clubhouse has a bar and grill, fire pits, snack bar and dining room! Get daily exercise by walking the lush grounds. The full-scale resort offers it all. The desert air brings high winds, please be aware of this. Despite our best efforts to provide clean windows and walkway / patio free of dust and leaves for your arrival, the high winds can pick up daily, even after we have cleaned. You may arrive to leaves on the back patio or front walk. We provide a blower so that you can blow these away, if this bothers you. The highest wind speeds occur in the hot summer months.

Summer months are the slow season in the Coachella valley and it is possible that not all resort amenities will be available. For example, some spas may not be heated or the main dining room at the clubhouse may be closed but the snack bar is typically open. If you have specific questions about an amenity, please ask before booking.

October is seeding time in the Coachella Valley and the golf course may be closed at this time so that we can prepare the best possible turf for our guests. For specific information, please call the golf club.

For the safety of all, the resort adheres to a strict speed limit of 25 MPH and violators may be issued speeding tickets with associated fines of up to $300. We require all guests and vendors to drive within the posted speed limits.

BEDROOMS
The spacious primary bedroom ensures you get a good night sleep when you are away from home. Outfitted with a king bed, hotel quality linens, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, large closets, and an en suite bathroom. Step out of the sliding doors onto the patio for a fantastic view of the golf course. Working virtually? A designated workspace makes this room the ideal spot to call your "office" while visiting the desert. The second bedroom has a queen bed and other comforts needed to feel at home.

KITCHEN / DINING
The fully equipped kitchen contains stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven & dishwasher. We provide dishware, pots, pans, bowls, utensils, baking sheets, etc. Everything you need to cook meals should be found in the kitchen. Dining table has seating for 4.

LIVING ROOM
Rest comfortably in the spacious living room that contains a smart TV where you can access up to 225 channels, DVR included. Or, log into your own Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime/Disney+ accounts and stream movies and TV shows from the platform of your choice. Cabinet stocked with a selection of board games & puzzles.

PATIO
Watch the sunset on the patio and soak in the mountain views or enjoy meals on the spacious patio. Sit back, relax, watch golfers, enjoy a cocktail, play cards, enjoy a good conversation, or relax in the shade with a good book. Working virtual? This is your spot! It won't even feel like you are at the office! Owners provide a grill and accessories, but we do not refill the propane tank. Use the grill to cook your lunch and/or dinner while enjoying the spectacular desert weather!

THE AREA
The Palm Springs airport is only 25 minutes away from the resort and everything you could possibly want is in Palm Desert. Golf courses, restaurants, shopping, markets, and movie theaters. Drive to Palm Springs, El Paseo for shopping (the Rodeo Drive of the desert), visit the Cabazon outlet mall, casinos, hiking trails, drive to Joshua Tree, the Empire Polo grounds in Indio, or drive 2.5 hours for a weekend trip to San Diego, L.A. or Disneyland! The online calendar is always up to date and the website will not let you book unless your dates are available. Once you enter the dates of your stay, your rent and all fees will automatically be calculated.

The city of Palm Desert requires a 11% TOT (transient occupancy tax, also known as a “room and board” tax) for each booking based off nightly rates only. There is an additional 1% tourism tax for desert cities. Guests who stay 28+ nights do NOT pay the 12% taxes because the stay is not considered a short term rental.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
