A gentle slope leads down to the private dock with a mix of sandy and rocky frontage, making it easy for kids and adults to enjoy swimming, paddling, and time on the lake. Johnson Lake is a full recreation lake, ideal for boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boating, and classic summer fun, while still offering a relaxed Northwoods feel close to town.

Summer days here are all about lake time and easy living. Start your mornings on the deck with coffee, spend the day on the water, and wind down by the fire pit in the evening.

The Cabin:
This is our family cabin and a place designed to unplug, unwind, and enjoy the Northwoods. Whether you’re here for lake days, trail adventures, or evenings out in Minocqua, the Kozy Cabin offers the perfect balance of peaceful lakefront living and convenience.

Sleeping arrangements (maximum 4 adults):

Primary bedroom with king bed and lake views

Second bedroom with twin over full bunk bed

Living area:

Comfortable seating with two reclining chairs

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests total.

Kitchen & Essentials

The kitchen is fully equipped for easy meals and relaxed mornings and includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker( Keurig & traditional), waffle maker, electric fry pan, sandwich maker, cookware, dishes, and utensils.

Linens and towels are provided. Basic soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels are also included.

Please note: There is no washer or dryer on site.

15 minutes to St. Germain

20 minutes to Boulder Junction

In addition to summer lake activities, the cabin offers easy access to snowmobile and ATV/UTV trail systems with hundreds of miles of groomed trails throughout northern Wisconsin and nearby upper Michigan.

Pet Policy:

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a limit of two per stay and a pet fee. As a dog-friendly cabin, we do our best to thoroughly clean after every visit, but guests with allergies should be aware that dog hair may occasionally be present.

Security & Safety:

For the safety of guests and the property, exterior security cameras are located at the front door/driveway and at the back door facing the lake. Cameras are exterior only and do not monitor indoor spaces.

No fish cleaning or cooking fish inside the cabin

No events or parties

Smoking is not permitted
