Cozy cottage on Lake Barkley in Cadiz Ky.Beautiful views of lake from the living room, screened porch, and your own private sandy beach. 2 adult kayaks and 1 child available for you to use at your leisure. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming or just enjoying nature. Every season has a special feeling. Comfy king size bed and trundle bed with 2 twins for the little sit extra guests. Pocket doors to seperate area for privacy. Fully equipped kitchen, keurig, regular coffee pot and gas grill provided. 2 fire pits one on beach and one closer to cottage. Firewood on site. Land between the lakes offers the elk and bison prairie, the home place (1850’s working farm), nature center, horseback riding, trails and 4 wheeler trails. Great antiquing in Cadiz some great boutiques and great resale shops.

The views are spectacular. We had a very relaxing stay. The host was very accommodating and helped us with ideas of places to see. The home itself was comfortable and more spacious than I initially thought. We can't wait to go back.

Well appointed cabin with an excellent view and easy access to the lake. Ron and Kathy have put some thought and love into all of the details of this place. Fully stocked, squeaky clean and comfortable. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Little piece of paradise

Our stay was great. The cottage is clean, well maintained, and was thoughtfully stocked including extras (s’mores supplies, toiletries etc). Hosts were friendly and accommodating and the property was perfect for relaxing.

Great stay

We really enjoyed a relaxing few days away from our crazy lives. So much nature everywhere you turn and such an amazing piece of property that was very well maintained. The hosts were super friendly and it made our stay that much better. We will definitely be back.

Friendly hosts and an excellent place to visit Lake Barkley. Should work well for small families, who can also enjoy the Land between the Lakes features nearby.

Cozy Cottage

Apache Trail Cottage is the perfect, peaceful getaway! The location is amazing, with a lakefront beach. The cottage is beautiful and includes everything needed for a relaxing stay. The owners are wonderful to work with.

Peaceful property

Our stay was perfect. Was a perfect two night get away location. Being able to kayak directly off the property was our main reason for booking. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Will look into rebooking with them if we ever return to the area!

A perfect retreat!

My family loved this cute lake cottage with all the amenities we needed to relax away from home. Beach access was wonderful for my young son and we could not be more pleased with Kathy and Ron’s place. We will be back soon!

PERFECT LITTLE CABIN!

My husband and I were looking to get away for few days to relax and unwind from our hectic schedule. This place was perfect for us, we love the lake life, views were awesome. House was very well stocked with everything you would need. Bed was super comfy ,we slept great!. nights

Great place on the lake

Three of us stayed 2 nights and had a lot of fun using the kayaks to explore the lake and relaxing outside. Indoor space is really clean and they have all the amenities you would need. Only slight complaint is the sheets/bedding could improved.

Best lake experience I’ve had

The cabin was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The beach area on the lake at the cabin was perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. The owners provided in depth knowledge of the lake, how to navigate it, great fishing spots, and the hidden coves with beaches for our family to dock the boat and swim.

Place of Paradise

We have stayed in quite a few rentals through the years and this was the BEST!! Everything we needed was there. It was just what we needed to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. We loved the screened in porch and the views from the living room. It rained while we were there but we didn’t mind because of the beauty surrounding us. It truly is a place of paradise! We look forward to spending more time there in the future!

awesome lake house

My husband and I stayed here for Memorial day weekend and loved every minute. the house was great and well stocked. The view, the beach, fishing, kayaking and sunsets were unforgettable. The owners are helpful, friendly and there when you need but also respectful of your privacy. I feel they made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The river made for the most beautiful kayak time ive ever had and wildlife everywhere!! thank you for a great trip

Wonderul Escape

Absolutely loved our stay! Kathy and Ron were fantastic and answered any questions we had. The cabin was just perfect for our long weekend escape. The views are wonderful day and night -- we enjoyed hearing the occassional boat cruise slowly by in the night on the lake and seeing its lights. Anything and everything needed was easily found -- utensils, dishes, pots, pans, Keurig, you name it. So relaxing. We will be back!
