Nice cool home, especially needed in the Texas summer heat! The home was so comfortable for our family of 13. Pool was nice and clean. Host and property manager were so very helpful. We were able to get HEB delivery to the property and that was very convenient. The lakeview was lovely. Perfect home for our get away!!

Everything was great!! We ranged in age from 10 months to 70 years. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the fact that the kids (8 and up) could touch the bottom all the way across, yet it was big enough for adults to enjoy also. View was great…even had a little water in lake thanks to recent rains. Note….bring your own washcloths, but everything else was provided.

The property was clean and beautiful. Our family of 15 was very comfortable. Even though we were told the lake was low, we did expect that we would have access to fishing; but, the lake was so low we couldn’t get to it or any of the community access points. We ended up finding a public spot about 15 minutes from this property where we could fish but we paid close to 100 dollars to enter. I would say this property is worth the money but to say it’s lakefront would be a stretch.

House is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The swirl stairs were a little challenging for us adults, but not a deal breaker. We would definitely recommend this place.

I met 10 of my high school classmates from 1983 for a mini reunion. The property was great for our needs and we had an excellent time. The property is about 20-30 minutes from any sizable town but there is a small store about 1 1/2 miles away. We all pulled in, Closed the gate and did not leave. Perfect!

Eclipse

The place was perfect for us and would have been even better if it hadn’t been cloudy. The sky deck was perfect for sky watching. The three separate spaces made it great for everyone to have their own space. Also the barndorium was great for evening entertainment with pool tournaments going all evening. The only sad part was seeing the dry lake but we weren’t there for the water so we didn’t mind. Really enjoyed our stay.

Family Vaca

Very peaceful. Drive there was scenic. House was great, the barndeminum, and cottage were great , for families with little ones. The main house had a bedroom with only few steps. Upstairs bedrooms had plenty of beds. The pool in the backyard was beautiful. The kids were in it most of the time. The owners and manager were very helpful with things that came up. The location would be perfect if they hadnt been working on the dam , so no water in the cove.

Family Vacay

Annual extended family vacation while college kids were still on break! Lots of things to do while we were there and with multiple families the guest house and barndominium, beside the main house were perfect! Allowed the older generation to have quiet time while the rest of us finished game marathon! Close enough to San Antonio for the river walk, Alamo and shopping, yet centrally located enough to hit up a rodeo in a different small town while were there. Vacay was in January so off season for the pool but still had young ones who were brave enough to test the waters ( for very brief stints!) Great house, location and communication with property manager, would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Family friendly. Spacious. Easy check-in / check-out process. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, deck, and barndominium! Rooms and beds were comfortable! We enjoyed the location to go and do some exploring and hiking in the lake bed. Neighborhood was quiet at night and even saw some wildlife (deer, foxes, hawks) while we were there! We did have an issue with the washer (balancing issue and never fully removing excess water). One of the oven knobs was broken and could not use that burner. Stove took a little bit longer to heat up. Also, there is only 1 trash bin and we had people take trash and dump it since trash pick-up is only once a week and we did not want to get charged an "excess trash fee". Pool cleaner came Monday instead of Thursday, but was quick and efficient.One enhancement would be a heated pool, but the pool was lovely and enjoyed!Overall a great stay! We had 12 people and it fit us very comfortably! I would recommend for family gatherings!

We had a family vacation with 12 of us including 2 grandkids. The space was fantastic and the pool was so clean and nice. The kitchen is well stocked and everything worked well.

Plenty of room with spacious family areas to enjoy! The pool! OMG the best!!! Even the Sunday morning rain that we had was no match to bring us down because the walkways were covered even to the Barndominium. Already checking dates for next Summer vacation!

A place for family get-togethers

My family and I were pleased with this Medina Lake getaway. We had a few issues come up regarding the house but all were handled in a quick and professional way by the hosts. As stated by the hosts, the lake is at an all-time low so if you are here for the lake, there is not much to look at but the view is still very nice. And the pool was very enjoyable and appreciated during the hot summer months. Overall we had a blast here. It is nice to step out of city living and slow life down for a week.

Lake house paradise

The property was very beautiful very clean from inside lots of room to camera roll my guest they just bought the property so they were fine-tuning last minute adjustments but overall was a great stay I would recommend it for anybody looking for a peaceful quiet getaway the pool was awesome Paul the owner Was very helpful
