Folly Vacation Vintage Cottage with Stunning Views

Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Respect your neighbors, keep the noise down, and NO parties or events. Use of the dock is at your own risk; host is not to be held responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses that occur while using the dock.

Come enjoy the relaxing environment of this vintage three bedroom, two bath charming cottage with stunning views of the Folly River. An easy walk to the ocean, busy Center Street and Folly's famous Bert's Market. Set in the laid-back residential community often referred to as "The Edge of America," this home is a perfect haven very close to the beach, downtown, shopping, restaurants and much more.

The large kitchen has new appliances, new granite counter-tops and new cabinets, and all the tools and cookware you need to cook your favorite meal. Original heartpine pine floors throughout the home add to the charm. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and has a cleanable filter, and a disposable paper filter can be used if desired. The master bedroom on the top floor has a super comfy King size bed and flat screen TV. There is a Queen bed in the second bedroom also on the top floor, and a full-size Twin bed in the third bedroom on the main floor. A Queen size sleeper sofa and a daybed in the living area provide additional sleeping. Both full size bathrooms have a fun vibe and feature vintage decor. When you're ready to head to the beach, just grab the beach cart and four beach chairs. This home also has a washing machine and dryer to make your stay easy and convenient.

With plenty of seating, the outdoor deck area is a great place to sit back and relax and enjoy private sunset views over the Folly River. The yard is nicely landscaped with lots of play room for the kids or dogs who tag along. The large deck is gated with railings around the deck, perfect for kids and dogs.

We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee per dog: $125 up to three nights, $150 for four to six nights, and $250 for seven or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed.

Perfect Folly Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the cottage. We celebrated our daughter's college graduation and the accommodations could not have been better. Beautifully decorated with nice updates (great bedding etc.) and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. If you have a boat, this would be the perfect place as it has a great dock. I hope we can stay again!

Great stay

We had a great time with our military family fishing off the dock, cooking meals in the kitchen, and playing card games around the large dining room table. Large deck out back we relaxed on and enjoyed our coffee in the morning. Upstairs got a little warm at night but understand heat rises. Close walk to beach, pier, restaurants, and shops. We rented a golf card to explore but not needed to get to the beach, pier, restaurants, and shops.

Great marsh view and quick walk to beach!

The house was really clean! We enjoyed the marsh view, but the boardwalk that leads to river dock was scary to walk on as several boards were loose and missing screws. The staff was quick to respond to any questions. We had a really easy walk to beach! We would definitely stay here again

Amazing

Thank you so much for letting us stay in this amazing home. It was absolutely incredible. The private dock was on of our favorites. We saw dolphins very day on our kayaks and paddle boards. The dogs and kids didn’t want to leave.

Fabulous House!

This house was in a great location, short walk to the beach and shopping/restaurants. It was large and the bedrooms were very nice. Kitchen was great, and has a large outside deck overlooking the dock on the inlet. Quiet neighborhood. Loved all the cool decor as well. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone who doesn't mind being a little off the oceanfront.

We love offering a home that is walking distance to the restaurants, shops, and fun of Center St plus it is only a 5-8 min walk to the beach. It is great to know that you liked the spacious deck with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating, grill and many other amenities like stocked kitchen and luxury firm mattresses.
