Whispering Winds - Great House on a Great Point

Escape to this comfortable lakeside house on the Little Niangua at Lake of the Ozarks, where breathtaking panoramic views and peaceful surroundings await. Situated on a prime point, this nicely landscaped property features a gently sloping yard leading to a private two-well dock, complete with a high dive platform for endless waterfront fun. The owner does have a boat in one slip so you are welcome to use the other one (10'x24').

Inside, the house boasts an open-concept layout designed for relaxation and connection. The fully stocked kitchen flows seamlessly into the inviting living area, where vaulted ceilings and expansive windows frame the lake's natural beauty. Enjoy meals at the breakfast bar or adjacent dining area with seating for six. The main level features a spacious primary suite with a queen bed, more stunning lake views, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks, a walk-in shower, and a soaking tub. A second queen bedroom, another full bathroom, and a large laundry room provide additional space and convenience. The lower level offers even more space to gather with a large family room, making it the perfect spot for games or simply unwinding. This level also includes a full bathroom and 3 well appointed bedrooms: one with a king and a twin, another with a queen and a twin over full bunk, and a third bedroom featuring a twin and another twin over full bunk.

Take in the magnificent scenery from 2 large porches or the sunroom, where walls of windows bring the outdoors in. Where you're sipping coffee at sunrise, lounging in the sunroom, or diving into the lake, this lakefront getaway offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

This house is conveniently located near Captain Ron’s, Franky and Louie’s, Bridal Cave, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, and area marinas. You can always book with confidence through Four Seasons Property Management, Lake of the Ozarks!

Pets welcome (2 dog maximum) with a $200 non refundable pet fee.

Please note: 5 cars max in driveway. There is an area for boat trailer parking to the side of the driveway.

Great location, dock, home. My only complaint is that there isn't any patio furniture to speak of. We'll be back, but we'll bring lawn chairs.

Incredible house!!

Big with 5 bedrooms (3 with multiple beds). Wonderful sitting areas both inside and on porches. What worked out the best is the 2 dining tables for our family reunion meals.The view from the glassed in porch was priceless.

Great Family vacation spot

Our extended family really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for all to enjoy themselves or escape for a little quiet time. The kitchen was perfect for gathering and chatting, and the sunroom was a perfect escape location to read or work on a puzzle.We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lakefront vacation home with our family. The location was perfect, and we especially loved the beautiful views and access to the dock. The enclosed sunroom quickly became one of our favorite spots to relax, whether we were watching the rain or enjoying a peaceful sunset. The home was the ideal size for our large family, offering plenty of space for everyone. One thing to note—the gas grill wasn’t working, so we recommend bringing charcoal to use the available charcoal grill. The walk to the dock is a bit steep, but the paved path made it manageable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The dock was accessible and functioned fine for the Triton that we rented. One problem is that the bed in the master is too small. I think it was advertised as a Queen, but it felt more like a Full.

Great Family Vacation

Our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids 11-16yr) had plenty of room in this house. Great views from every room. Dock was great for swimming and parking your boat. If you need to rent a boat check our Point Oasis, its a bit of a boat ride there and back but great people and prices. Would definitely recommend this house for family gatherings.

Peaceful Retreat

This was our annual family vacation with our six kids 5/6 are adults and their significant others. This property was exactly what we were hoping it would be. The views from the house are magnificent and the house was comfortable, spacious, with excellent amenities. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and also great for everyone to come together to enjoy a meal. You can tell that this home was well cared for and the dock provided a great place to relax and enjoy fishing and swimming. We had a wonderful stay.

Extended family stay over July 4th

This house is perfect for a large family. Great dock, well stocked house, great views. Could view fireworks multiple nights from the porch. Quiet family friendly cove, water was never rough - unlike other parts of the lake. The three refrigerators were a great amenity not listed, we brought coolers we had expected to use for drinks. Also lots of extra blankets and pillows. The management company was also very responsive.

October Stay at the Cabin

We enjoyed staying at this property with our friends, children, and pets. It's very spacious and kid/pet-friendly. Kitchen utensils and other supplies are abundant. The lake and scenery were amazing, especially during our stay in October. The only problem we had was with the propane grill. We managed to use it the first night (by chance, I guess) but couldn't use it the other nights and had to use either the stove oven or the charcoal grill. There was something wrong with the regulator, I suppose. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend the place.

Family vacation

Great house, plenty of room for the 16 of us. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The management company responded quickly and was easy to work with. We are planning our next year’s trip, hopefully at the same house. The only negative comments I heard from any family members were; the last set of stairs leading to the concrete walkway had no lights, and it had been awhile since the actual lot had been maintained. (weeds were starting to take over)

Wonderful Lakefront Stay for a Family Gathering

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience staying at this lakefront property for a large family vacation. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with a short (though somewhat steep) walk down a well-paved path to a private dock—perfect for enjoying the lake. One of our favorite features of the home was the screened-in sunroom. It became our go-to spot when we weren’t on the water, especially for watching sunsets or enjoying a peaceful moment during the rain.The home comfortably accommodated our large group and met our needs very well. It’s also pet-friendly, which we appreciated. However, just a heads-up for fellow pet owners: the yard is mostly rocky, which makes it a bit tricky for dogs to walk on.The gas grill on-site didn’t work well during our stay, but there is a charcoal grill available as a backup. Also, if you enjoy smoothies or frozen drinks, consider packing a blender, as the house didn’t have one. Other than that, the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to help us find a great local spot to rent a boat. Overall, a lovely stay in a beautiful setting—we’d happily return!

What a View!

Communication with the management company was excellent, very responsive! The sunroom in this house is amazing with windows all around. The dock advertises a slip for use with the other being used by the owner. If you have a tritoon, it will not fit in the available slip due to the lift in there so we had tie off to the side of the dock which resulted in our boat getting rained on for 2 days, the fish cleaning station in the pictures is not operational. No fault of the owners as this was not advertised as working. The gas grill wouldn't get hot enough to cook on but they have a backup charcoal grill that saved the day. We thought the toaster didn't work but its the GFCI outlet its plugged into that's not working. If you are looking for a very nice house that sleeps allot of non-elderly people and has a super view, this is it. My parents are in their mid 70's and the hill to the dock was a bit much for them.Most people may not care about this but I like the "lake experience" which includes the decor. The furniture is all very comfortable and clean but the pictures in the house scream "Motel consignment auction" Overall it was a great week at the lake and the neighbors are super friendly!

Regarding the boat slip, you could have dropped the lift in the water and pulled into the slip over the top of the lift. Thank you for bringing the issue with the grill and the kichen GFI to our attention. We will get those repaired. We would Love to have you back again next time you visit Lake of the Ozarks! The house had plenty of space and we were able to get down to the dock to fish with relative ease. Caught 3 catfish and 1 bass right off the dock over the course of our stay with more hits to our lines. We loved the views of the lake and the house (while a little dated) held all 10 of us well for a decent price. The kids room had bunks that were good for the kids and there were plenty of queen beds for the adults and teens. Pizza was able to be delivered here via DoorDash, although options were extremely slim. Plan to make a 30min trip out to Walmart for food for the week!The house was clean with the exception of 1 room. We found hair and cereal in one of the beds. The housing company was alerted and they took off 100 off our cleaning fee. The whirlpool tub in the master does not work. The housing company was alerted, but no one was sent to fix the issue. The grill has an issue with the fire and ability to cook food. The line appears to let barely any gas through and therefore the fire on high is barely able to cook steaks. The kitchen has an odd array of older pots/pans/utensils. Only 1 small cookie sheet was found and the pots for spaghetti are pretty small, but we just utilized multiple pots and pans to make it work. Annoying, but doable.Overall, not our worst stay at the lake. We’d likely consider another home with better amenities and working advertised accommodations.

Fun filled family vacation !

We are a family of 11 with 3 toddlers, 2 kids, a teenager and 5 adults. The bedrooms were more than sufficient to accommodate our sleeping arrangements. The house layout worked well for us. The house was superbly clean which is a big factor for me. The house was abundantly stocked with towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and toiletries so that we didn't have to buy anything. The kitchen is adequately supplied with plates etc and all the necessary cooking paraphernalia . I asked before we arrived if there was a crockpot. There was not but John went out and bought us one. Very kind of him! The private dock worked out great and the kids spent plenty of hours swimming. We rented a boat for a day and there was no problem mooring it to the dock. John welcomed us the day we arrived and said to be sure to contact him should we need anything. It was not necessary as everything was in working order and no issues. This has been our third family vacation and this was by far our favorite. We would all come back again and recommend the house. My only MINOR suggestions would be a dish drying rack, a few more kitchen towels and kids dishes/utensils. A lamp on the bedside table in the master bedroom. Also, a note that the incline to the dock is very steep so if you have mobility issues, it’s tough.
