Premier estate resting above the Pacific Ocean.
This 4 bedroom, 6 bathroom, home is situated on a colorful and private bougainvillea lined 1/2 acre, near Coronado, within the secured gated community of El Cortijo, consisting of 14 exclusive properties.
If it is sand between your toes that you desire, the villa is the closest one to the black and white sand beach, 160 steps away, accessible from a resident's only gated access point at the rear of the property.
If you wish to relax, you can lounge outside by the pool, the covered terrace, or the second shaded area, a Panamanian bohio.. Nap or enjoy a beverage in the swaying hammocks and lounges, feel the ocean breezes, and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and diverse bird population.
There is an outdoor shower and bathroom , as well as ceiling fans in both the terrace and bohio.
Help yourself to the coconuts and mangoes from the trees on the property.
The villa consists of 3780 sq/ft.(350 sq/m) of freshly renovated space with new kitchen appliances, (double filtration system, so water is quite drinkable), including 2 refrigerators., air conditioners and ceiling fans in each bedroom, bathroom fixtures, WiFi, and 6 TVs, all with cable. The hub of the villa has vaulted ceilings, with glass sliding doors opening to the covered terrace and a well manicured tropical courtyard with the 24 x 12 hourglass pool. Pass food and refreshments through the kitchen service window to the lounge and dining area on the covered terrace with ceiling fans and Wifi.
Evenings can be spent at the bar in the villa's large entertainment room or outside, strolling the beach, watching the sun set, or enjoying the incredible night sky.
When it is time to retire for the evening, each bedroom has its own private bathroom and shower, with ample hot water. Sink off to sleep in your luxurious, comfortable bed with room darkening shades and mosquito nets, as you end your day with a peaceful sleep.

Along the stumbles in life, I eventually figured out what was important to me...and learned to prioritize it. Having parents that were fortunate to emigrate out of strife to the US. yet always maintain their ethnicity, gave me a different perspective. I like being around friendly, but different people than myself. I still live in the States, with 3 daughters scattered across the land, as well as 5 grand kids. All of us have busy lives, but this house gives us all a place to gather round

The location of the property allows you an easy transition between the necessity/'desire of both the active world and the tranquil one. Exit the Pan American Highway and in 8 minutes, you can relax in your safe and secure home resting above the Pacific Ocean.. There are 14 homes, a mixture of nationalities, in this gated and secured community, well fitted into the abundant nature of the area. This home is not only the closest to the ocean, it is also the most private with only 2 homes to the northwest . The entire rear of the home faces the ocean with mature trees on both sides. . Day or night enjoy the pool , the diversity of birds and wildlife, the beauty of the beach and ocean. There is a large backyard, suitable for family games and entertainment At night venture out to the restaurants and nightlife in Coronado or San Carlos, both less than 12 minutes away. Or just lay in the hammock and enjoy the calm of the night and incredible views of the sky. If you are vacationing or looking to explore, you will be faced with an abundance of choices. The mountains with distinctively Panamanian towns like El Valle, as well as other beach communities, offer many possibilities. For the most part, Panamanians are friendly and easy going, particularly outside the stress of the city

This is a shout out to my realtor, Carlos Camano,(Region Panama Realty) who showed me the beauty and possibilities of this home. The renovation and redesign took over a year. Frustrating at times, but now that the work is complete, I feel this home balances the world and offers an array of choices. Nearly self inclusive, you don't really need to leave the property, and every day is different. OTOH, there is much the area has to offer. So I get to chose and there is always a quick and easy transition from a faster lifestyle to a slower one
