Welcome to the quiet, well kept secret of Millers Eddy. Tucked in along the river between Parker, West Monterey, and East Brady, we’re a bit of a hidden gem down in the valley. Here you’ll find quiet neighbors, friendly interactions, and the peace and quiet you’ve been looking for.



Completely remodeled space. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet that Western Pennsylvania has to offer. With the Allegheny River just steps out the front door, you’ll never want to leave. You're bound to find yourself and enjoy some time amongst you and your closest friends and family while visiting.

4BD/2BA Riverfront home situated on the Allegheny River with 2-tier decks, a great outdoor space, accessible year round, and plenty of parking. Smart TVs equipped with WiFi allowing you to login to all your favorite streaming apps. Within miles & a short drive to East Brady (7 mi), Parker (11 mi), Foxburg (13 mi), Emlenton (15 mi), and Allegheny Rails to Trails (15 mi)! Fishing, floating, kayaking, peace and quiet await you!

As you walk in the home, you'll find the laundry room giving you access to a washer/dryer during your stay. Through that hallway you'll find the first level bathroom and then it opens up to the open living area with the kitchen and dining area as well as double sliding glass doors to take you out onto the spacious deck. Off the living room and attached to the bathroom is the first floor queen bedroom.

On the other side of the living space you'll find a set of stairs leading you to the second level. Here you will find 3 of the 4 bedrooms and the 2nd full bathroom (jack and jill to the master bedroom). Attached to the master bedroom is a private balcony giving you some peace and quiet, and space to watch the bald eagles soar by in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee/tea. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart HD TV.

From the main deck/balcony space, you'll find direct views of the mighty Allegheny River. You have direct access (walking and driving) down to the river bank, allowing easy access of loading/unloading kayaks, canoes, floats, etc. We also have a firepit in the yard alongside the river access that has accessibility to electric and water, making it convenient to blow up your floats or wash down your kayaks at the end of the day.

Welcome to Millers Eddy! A small community secluded along the Allegheny River, just south of Parker and north of East Brady. Keypad entry. Ample parking in the summer. Winter months limit parking to the top of the driveway area (2-3 vehicles only).



Free parking available on the property. No trailers. 1 spot for parking available just off the road. Additional parking available for 4 cars amongst the driveway. Max 5 vehicles/reservation.





*** FOR WINTER STAYS: Please be advised we highly recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles only in the winter months. The steep ascent when leaving the driveway may become troublesome with snowfall. We do our best to maintain as best as possible but in some instances Mother Nature may win. We are not responsible for any tow services that may be needed on the property.





Keypad entry with lock code provided prior to check-in. We do not typically welcome guests upon arrival to the home but if it’s something you prefer we ask you reach out prior and arrangements can be made!

We do consider ourselves to be in a remote, rural setting, although there are neighbors nearby. We are now able to offer Starlink WiFi services and have a cellphone booster installed to help with connectivity.

RENTAL RULES:



RIVER RULES: Our home is close to the river so children must be accompanied outdoors at all times. We absolutely love the river, but don’t take for granted how powerful it can be. Be sure to look at rules and regulations for personal flotation devices and please abide by them.



PETS & SMOKING: We have a strict no pet/animal policy as well as no smoking inside. If an animal is deemed to be on the premise, your party will be charged a $300 fee to cover additional cleaning required. If you smoke outside, please dispose of all butts. If found on premise after check-out, an additional fee will incur. Vaping is permitted but only outdoors. Signs of smoking indoors will also incur an additional fee. If the use of an ozone machine is required to rid the property of smoke (even if it comes inside with you via your clothes, etc.), guest will be subject to an additional $300 fee for cleaning.



OUTDOOR SPACE: Wood is sometimes stocked at this home but not always, so please plan to bring firewood if planning on having a fire. Chairs are provided for your convenience, we ask that if you move them throughout your stay, that you simply return them to where you found them before you depart. The home is equipped with exterior security cameras around the premise, if any exterior cameras are tampered with in any way, guests may incur a $500 fine.



TRASH: There is a trash bin outside - Please place all BAGGED trash in these bins upon departure. No unbagged trash, please.



GRILLE: We provide a propane grill on our deck for your use. Please clean the grille after every use and leave it how you found it. Please recover when finished using. IF you finish a propane tank, we ask you to please leave it out so that we know to replace it for incoming guests.



KAYAKS: We do have 3 personal kayaks that are available for your use. Each comes with a paddle and life jacket. Please be aware of the river current and always kayak up river first, to ensure you're not too tired to get back to home. If you use these kayaks, you are using them at your own risk and we can not be held liable for any wrongdoings.



INITIAL WALK-THRU: Please take a few minutes when you arrive to do an initial walk-thru of the home. We have an amazing housekeeper that does a wonderful job. However, rarely something might get missed. Please notify us within 2 hours of any housekeeping issues or anything that is not acceptable so that we can correct the problem immediately. Please note that by staying you are agreeing to the unit in its current condition, no refunds will be issued after check-out.



TOWELS/LINENS: We provide very nice towels and linens and, in addition, provide black makeup towels for makeup removal or anything else that may stain our white towels/linens. Please use these black makeup towels or you may be subject to fees if the towels and/or linens become damaged from stains.



AGE RESTRICTIONS: Must be at least 25 years of age to book a reservation.



PARTIES/ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Absolutely NO parties and/or gatherings outside of the allowed 10 max guests occupancy are permitted unless given prior approval. If evidence of such is brought to our attention, your reservation will be immediately cancelled and you will be subject to removal from the home with no refund.



CHECK-OUT: Our check out is promptly at 11am. If you extend your stay without permission you will be charged $50/hr post check-out time. Our cleaners come promptly after 11am and if they have to leave because the space is still occupied, we are charged an additional cleaning fee for them to come back. We ask that you load dishwasher and run it before departure. All used towels can be placed in a pile in the laundry room. Linens can be left on the bed. Most importantly, this is our home, and we hope you treat it as your own, so please leave the space how you found it for our next guests!



Cancellation Fee Policy:



Please be advised that a 4% cancellation fee will be applied to any cancellations made before the official cancellation policy takes effect. This fee is non-refundable and covers credit card procession costs. Thank you for your understanding.
