Sunset Ranch is the crown jewel of Ranches at Belt Creek — our largest home, created for bringing people together in the middle of an extraordinary Montana landscape.

With eight bedrooms, expansive gathering spaces, a game room, and room for up to 16 guests, Sunset is made for the trips that are hard to find a house for: extended families coming together, several couples traveling as a group, milestone celebrations, reunions, retreats, and friends who want to experience Montana under one roof.

And then there are the views.

Perched along the edge of a coulee, Sunset looks out across the ranch toward Belt Butte, the Highwood Mountains, and the Little Belt Mountains. The setting also makes the home one of the best places on the property to watch for deer, elk, and other wildlife moving through the ranch.

Wake up to an enormous Montana landscape outside your window. Have coffee while everyone slowly gathers for the day. Head out for a morning horseback ride, spend the afternoon fly fishing or exploring by ATV, and come home with nowhere else you need to be.

Sunset was built specifically with groups in mind.

The home has generous common spaces where everyone can actually spend time together, while eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms plus two half baths give guests plenty of privacy when they want it.

Sleeping arrangements include:

Four King bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms
Two Queen bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms
One bedroom with two Full beds and a private bathroom
One bunk room with four bunk beds

It’s an unusually comfortable setup for a large group — enough room to gather without having to spend the entire vacation on top of one another.

THE FUN DOESN’T STOP WHEN YOU GET HOME

Downstairs, Sunset has its own game room and bar with a pool table, air hockey, popcorn machine, and gaming center. Upstairs, there’s also a poker table for late-night games after dinner.

That makes Sunset especially fun for multigenerational family trips and groups with kids and adults traveling together. Some of the group can settle in for the evening while everyone else keeps playing downstairs.

But with the views outside, you may have a hard time staying indoors.

Guests at Sunset also have access to select amenities at the Ranches at Belt Creek clubhouse, including the fitness room, shared hot tub, and gathering spaces.

Chef-prepared brunches, dinners, and other dining experiences can be arranged in advance, which is especially wonderful for a large group. Spend the day outside and let someone else handle dinner.

The ranch concierge team can also help coordinate activities and experiences for different members of your group, so everyone doesn’t have to follow the same itinerary.

A $35 daily Fee applies and is collected through Vrbo. The fee includes access to select ranch amenities, clubhouse and concierge support throughout your stay.

Activities, guided experiences, dining, chef services, and other optional offerings are booked separately and are subject to availability. Advance planning is strongly recommended for large groups and peak travel dates.
