Sleeping 14 guest comfortably this East End beauty offers panoramic views of Gulf and Bay from three floors, charming coastal dĂ©cor, and lots of room for your crew to spread out and enjoy their Forgotten Coast vacation. Be together while also enjoying privacy â gather in the spacious common areas or enjoy a refreshing beverage and coastal breezes on private bedroom decks!
Blue Heron @ Sunset's fantastic location in exclusive the Sunset Beach community features gated entrance, community pool, open-air clubhouse, tennis court, and outdoor grill area with park-style grill. This vacation home is next to the State Park, and close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, multi-use path, fishing pier, and of course just steps from St. George's award-winning sugar sands beaches. Excursions to historic and trendy Apalachicola's shops, restaurants, galleries and nightlife scene are just 30 minutes away by car.
The exterior of Blue Heron @ Sunset offers under-house concrete parking with an elevator and convenient covered entry. The community boardwalk to the beach is just steps away. Enjoy the enclosed, outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a fish cleaning area for your fresh catch, and a park style grill to prepare it.
The first floor feature the SW king master bedroom with a flat screen TV and a full bathroom with large glass block shower and double vanities. Enjoy direct access to a private, covered deck with Adirondack chairs and views of the Gulf. The NE master queen bedroom offers a flat screen TV, full private bathroom and direct access to the covered Bayview deck. The NW twin bedroom enjoys direct access to the covered Bayview deck. A full bathroom is just next to the twin bedroom and a laundry room with washer and dryer are on the first floor.
The second floor, with vaulted ceilings and an open living/dining/kitchen area, is the perfect place to gather after a day in the sun. The well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and spacious granite counters has an extra sink for meal preparation.
The dining area seats 10, and the kitchen breakfast bar seats 5 guests, so there is lots of room at mealtime for serving coastal feasts. Just off the dining room you'll find a covered deck with two chairs and a console table, perfect for morning coffee.
The living area features a flat screen TV, two couches (one with sleeper), and an additional club chair. Large sliding doors from the living room place you on the wonderful covered deck with sweeping sunset views of the Apalachicola Bay. An outdoor dining table for 6 is perfect for those al fresco meals.
The SW king bedroom enjoys a flat screen TV and direct access to a full shared bathroom. This room also enjoys direct access to the covered Bay view balcony. The third floor offers a wonderful queen bedroom with a large flat screen TV, and lounge chair, arching windows for star gazing, full private bathroom with jetted tub and direct access to a private open balcony with Gulf views.
